//Off topic

So Bill's a lezzo and very strong rumours are circulating that an actor named Kris Marshall (a ginger!) is to be the next Doctor and has already been filming on set. Hmmm.... Anyone here know of Marshall? Can he act?

//On topic

William Russell, Janet Fielding, Tom Baker, Colin Baker, etc, etc, are still alive.

Ever seen Love Actually? He's the guy who goes to America to get shagged in it.

Will look up some clips of him. I am a ginger, too, so if he is the next Doc, I am interested to see how he is dressed. Might give me some fashion tips!

With Moffat's lazy god-awful scripts it's an irrelevance.  Can I put Steven Moffat into Room 101 please?

Moffat's gone at the end of this year. It'll be Chris Chibnall in charge from 2018 when the new Doctor shows up.

Chibnall and Kris Marshall are both English and there were rumours a few months ago that the production going to be moved from Cardiff to Manchester (though this was denied) so it seems like the era of "Celtic Who" is coming to an end.

He really needs an editor with bigger cojones.  Poor Peter Capaldi having to sell this drek.

How's Russell T Davies' health holding up?

I thought he was OK in My Family but I have a feeling this might be a bit of a red herring.

I don't like all the Moffett bashing. He wrote some of the best scripts in the RTD era and made The Doctor, The Doctor again. I stopped watching  under Tennant. Not sure what to make of Chibnell though.

Not many left who worked on the original Quatermass Experiment now. Bar the indomitable Paddy Russell, of course, who was a production assistant.

Great list there mcs!  Some very noteworthy and 'Deathlisty' names on there.  Also loved the  Geoffrey “Utter Living Legend” Bayldon (1924) caption :lol:.

I think from that list Dudley Simpson should make a good pick next year just due to his age - 96.  Also Geoffrey Palmer could be a decent pick as well as William Russell and Bayldon (although I hope they all see 100!).

Don't want to fuel the legend that every Italian knows other Italians all over the world, but I know Valentino Musetti.

Ah, damn it.

I think that adds Colin Jeavons onto the above list of 30 oldest living Dr Who guests, but I don't have the exact 1929 DOBs in front of me.

On my long list of unconfirmed Dr Who ages. (The list is somewhat dated in places.) Give it a few days, max, for confirmation or denial, it's being looked into.

Doctor Who actor Richard Beale, who appeared in 10 episodes in various roles, died back in March aged 96 according to IMDb. Can't find anything elsewhere though.
