It has been compiled from a previous list posted on this site, then I added in references from other posts on this thread and further additions were made as and when they were reported upon in the press, etc. Interesting to note the number who have died this year already. Simply forms a base for discussion and for those interested in adding to their deadpools in the future (some are already in the DDP this year, for example). Those are several different questions. Did those concentration camp guards have a choice? Yes they did, when they joined the SS (concentration camps were run exclusively by the SS). At one time they must have applied for the job and they must have known that those places weren't for entertainment. Whether it's fair to go after them after all those years: difficult to say. There's no statute of limitation on war crimes for political reasons, reasons I appreciate.
