You can also move Pistor and Bothe from blue to red as their deaths have been verified now.

Bothe's page was finally settled on Wiki as her having died in 2000 (there was previous doubt as to whether she had died - the confusion occurred because an interview with her from the 1990s was mislabelled on YouTube as 2007, as it was rebroadcasted that year). Ernst-August Pistor (his full name is provided in the court documents online) has an obit from several months after his trial here.

Germany has a good record in football cup tournaments, right - some DL Cup talent right there!

I found out that Gühnter Schwägermann was still alive in 2010

Reuters France stated he was still alive in 2013 when Rochus Misch died. I don't know if this information was provided by an official source or journalists were so stupid they only looked at his Wikipedia page and saw no date of death.

I know animals are not permitted on this forum but I want to make an exception for Hitler's favorite Alligator. The beast died today at the ripe old age of (ca.) 84, which is a rare age for an animal like this. The alligator arrived in the Berlin zoo from the US of A in the 30's and was moved by the Soviets to Moscow. The alligator still wore his alligator skin Jackboots.

Oldest alligator I saw dying, until Sumner Redstone or Stanley Ho join him.

They're allowed, just not as candidates. Apart from Red Rum.

German wikipedia claims that SS Totenkopf Division Nazi Johann Rehbogen, died in November 2019. He was picked here and there last year, including in the DDP 2019 and 2020, after he was deemed unfit for trial.

Time we revisit @Prophet's list.

I think only Gerhard Sommer and Helmut Oberlander, turning 100 and 97 next year respectively, are the only two names from that list who are notable i.e. news of their death would be covered by mainstream UK/European/US news.

Is Sommer still alive? Not heard anything of him since 2015.

I would have thought so. If you go to the Axis History Forum, there's some discussion of him there. A lot of the historians there are in touch with former Waffen SS/Heer/Luftwaffe personnel, and they're generally pretty quick to report deaths.

He was reported to be suffering from dementia in 2015... but what does that mean? We're watching famous names on DL who have had dementia for 10+ years.

My hunch is on either living or recently deceased and yet to be flagged up.

A 95-year-old German woman was charged on Friday with complicity in the murders of 10,000 people, for her work as a Nazi concentration camp secretary during the second world war, according to CNN.
While the woman has not been publicly named, due to Germany's privacy laws, a reporter with German public broadcaster NDR interviewed her in 2019, and referred to her as "Irmgard F.
Prosecutors said Irmgard worked as a stenographer and secretary to the commander of the Stutthof camp from June 1943 to April 1945, according to CNN.

Stenographer!!?  She may as well have pulled the trigger!  Guilty!

Yeah, didn't get around to post this in the last week. She lives in a retirement home now. I really don't know how to feel about this.
