Long Shot: Robert Kilroy Silk

Recommended Posts

Does anyone else see the irony in a Dutch person providing more support to Kilroy than any of the English people??

As is the fact that Tangerine Man lives most of the year in Spain

Bloody foreigners, coming over here nicking our houses, drinking our beer.... etc

Except in this case I think the Spanish my have a point!

Perhaps old Bobby Killall-Sick hasn't realised Franco's dead and thinks he's living in a suitably Fascist state

Guest The Bob

Hi, I am kind of obsessed with Kilroy :P . Mainly because he is a "chracter."

Don't actually like him though...

Anyway. I reckon he's never going to die... and neither is Veritas. Unfortunately.

These auctions might die though... ;)

Hmmm.... maybe I could put one of those campaign posters on my wall... *thinks* :P

I'd expect so considering the description of campaign posters as "VERY RARE" despite the fact that there's six of them, and they must have been available free recently. (And are probably worth even less now).

So another victory for E-Bay.

All auctions will eventually die.

Are you saying that my shares in Ebay are worthless?

Josco you old capitalist!

As a keen seller on ebay, it is a warming feeling indeed to learn that I am also doing my bit to keep an old chum in top hats.

Less of the old!

I don't really have any shares in Ebay. I see that Brent and Martha have sold LastMinute.Com for a tidy sum, but the shareholders have lost out.

I can't find anything on the web, but I'm sure I've read on teletext that RKS is facing a leadership challenge of Veritas.

It's still unexplained why anyone else would want to lead this party.

A bit late I know, but I think the news RKS has quit from Veritas finishes this thread quite nicely.

Mr / Ms. Guesty, only one piece of news can truly finish this thread.

Really? And what that might be Anubis?

Anyway, a quick search shows Mr.Kilroy-Silk is still alive.

What happened?

Veritas are still alive, apparantly, not summat I'd have bet on after the 2005 election.

Surprising indeed, since that party should have been called Vanitas.

I started a thread on Veritas which has seen no action hereabouts for over a year and only saw about three posts. I reckoned nobody would renew memberships and so within a year of the 2005 election they'd be dead.

Their web site still looks lively but if you'd shown me a picture of the bloke who leads them now I'd not have recognised it. Not much news on the site, mind. Can't see them holding the balance of power if the next parlaiment is hung.

Maybe he's hiring a hit as we speak...

Does it count towards a deathpool if you kill the person?

Kilroy has completely disappeared from the public eye, hasn't even been photographed since 2011. For all we know he could be a shriveled up old man by now.

So we're speculating very little change, then?

Now you mention it I can't remember seeing or hearing from him at all in the media during the EU referendum debate in 2016 which given his history is quite striking.
