Bryan Lee, the New Orleans-based blues guitarist and singer whose blindness earned him the nickname "Braille Blues Daddy", died at 77 years:

Ronnie Kole, an acclaimed New Orleans pianist who performed across the globe, has died. He was 89.

His death Thursday night was announced on his website.  The cause of death was not released.

I think often the non cancer related hospices last a lot longer than people expect. Though even the cancer hospice names can last a while (see Joey Feek as a prime example)

Hehe yes, but maybe it was "only" in-house hospice care or whatever... the obit just says he's had health issues for a decade. I am kind of curious to know what he had though.

Saxophonist Barbara Thompson appeared in an episode of 24 Hours in A&E. The title is self-explanatory; you have to be in quite bad nick to make the cut. She is the widow of Jon Hiseman and suffers from Parkinson's.
