The Deathlist Christmas Special!

Recommended Posts

There have been good recent ones, just perhaps a little dark for most festive tastes :)

Hurts

And the late great Poly Styrene

And The Killers do a Christmas song every year. Should be enough for an album by now ...

My favourite Christmas song this year (though it's from 2011) is Zombie Christmas by Emmy the Great & Tim Wheeler:

Christmas is bollocks, but these are the best two Christmas songs ever.

Lardy makes my point well. Why do we never hear any of these in the shops?

Personally I don't want to hear any Christmas songs in the shops, but I'd settle for a wider variety than just the old warhorses.

I'm quite partial to the modern classic that is, The Darkness - Don't let the bells end

It must be because of my immaturity, me thinks.

Apologies if this is one of the above links, I have not had the time to check!

I have just realised I forgot to include George Michael in the list.

Will this be his Last Christmas?

Are you sick of Christmas already? What do you think of Christmas stuff appearing in the shops in October?

More like the end of August(!) down here these days.

As it's the time of sharing and reflection (or some rubbish like that), this remains my favourite post in DL history. Found one night via google, which introduced me to the Deathlist.

Christmas 2015 gonna suck, what with Santa falling to his death.

Lesson here is NEVER climb a bell tower without your reindeer!

"Every year, Santa Claus descends from the belfry in Douai...." And this year at is no different. His timing was just off.
