Did we miss Ronnie Barker's wife?

And would his alleged-paedo son be a suicide risk?

Well after eight years on the run, causing him to miss the funerals of both his parents, Adam Barker has finally been caught and charged with child porn offences.

Link claims he had small parts, so that might explain the kiddie-fiddling interest, then.

Ed Schultz, the MSNBC host, has revealed that his wife has ovarian cancer. She had surgery and they 'think they got it', but God only knows what that could mean. Plus, he admits they still have a long ways to go. Don't know if she's worthy of an obit, even in the US, but, I guess it's somebody to watch.

She'll probably get a Daily Mail obit at least. Also if Ed mentions his wife's death on air I believe that counts as coverage of her death by a major news organization.

If caught early, ovarian cancer is one of the least dangerous cancers. If caught later, it's usually already in Stage III or IV.

For those willing to try the ever-risky struggling young cancer patient route; the latest human interest story circulating around the internet is that of 31-year-old Arizona State University doctoral student Arijit Guha, who got the CEO of Aetna, his health insurance company, to pay for every penny of his medical bills while he struggles against Stage IV colon cancer.

Guha is also behind "Poop Strong", a parody of Lance Armstrong's "Live Strong" cancer organization.

Rosie O'Donnell's lesby friend, Michelle Rounds, is suffering from a "desmoid tumour". Only 900 desmoid tumours are diagnosed in America every year, so she's clearly a very lucky girl.

Anyway, our Rosie has reacted in the obvious way and wrote a poem about it:

took mish 2 malibu / drove to napa / stopped in big sur / heaven on earth / it was a honeymoon / before the wedding / pure bliss / we laughed loved listened / then blink - it begins / on mothers day / morning pain / that won't let up.

Only a month after the death of his son Sage, Sylvester Stallone's 48-year-old half-sister Toni Ann Filiti is in critical condition at a UCLA hospital, suffering from Stage IV lung cancer that has spread to her brain.

Can find no mention anywhere of William Betts, younger brother of unwitting posthumous anti-drug poster girl Leah Betts. Seems he was pretty much forgotten by his parents after big sis' bad trip (i think he saw the whole thing?) and they became high-profile anti-drugs campaigners/martyrs, and his life has been going downhill ever since. He was jailed in 2005 for 2 counts of underage sex with girls aged 13 and 14, then in 2008 was charged with rape (against an adult this time) but I can find no further info of the outcome of this, anybody know? He was apparently assaulted also during his incarceration.

Hes now 28 I think, accidental OD or suicide somewhere down the line seems highly probable

Time for yet another person "seeking the right to die" who will never exercise it. 57-year-old Tony Nicklinson.

Some further information about his court case

http://www.wiltshire..._on_death_bid_/

He's showing no signs of going away. Well, I suppose technically he is, but you know what I mean.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-19249680 I shall be awaiting the outcome of this one with bated breath......

Gonna be weird if he actually does get the go-ahead. If he does and a date is set in stone for 2013, will he be eligible for DDP selection or will that be too similar to executions?

Well it's irrelevant for now, anyway, he's lost his case.

If your wife / husband / child / loved one etc was in a similar position and they asked you to kill them would you ?

I think that is a question that nobody could answer until they were in that position. Seeing him weep when given the court's decision today was awful. I can't help but feel sorry for the guy.

Best of a bad job might be to clear a few quid by getting him into the next series of The Undateables on Channel Four.
