No, I think you are funny. In both senses of the word.

Even your insults are poorly thought out, weakly constructed and executed like a complete cockjockey.

You seem to be even more illiterate and lacking in thought than I had bargained for. Top marks.

When it comes to this ' alive and well ' character,

there really is more brains in a bottle of water.

His/her vocabulary leaves a lot to be desired and

every posting only confirms the life this rot must

be living.

He's still smoking, but he seems to be getting better.

It's probably because of that new medical technique used on him.

http://www.indianexpress.com/news/Cancer-s...-smoking/499350

Who would've thought that over 18 months after being diagnosed w/ Stage 4 pancreatic cancer (the most lethal kind), Patrick Swayze is still alive.

and not only that, he appears to be going strong and getting better!!!

Ever since Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, the following celebrities have died (prematurely and/or under tragic circumstances):

Anthony Minghella

Sydney Pollack

Tim Russert

George Carlin

Bernie Mac

Isaac Hayes

Don LaFontaine

Michael Crichton

Ron Silver

Natasha Richardson

David Carradine

Farrah Fawcett

Michael Jackson

Steve McNair

John Hughes

If someone were to have told me that all those celebrities would die before Patrick Swayze, i would've told them they were full of it (w/ the possible exception of Farrah Fawcett and Sydney Pollack). Yet Swayze has somehow managed to outlive all of those celebrities above.

anyway, here's more Swayze news:

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/entertain...r-1225759094232

Apparently, he's turned to medical marijuana to help him cope w/ the effects of pancreatic cancer.

Of course, the source is none other than The National Enqurier, so take that for what you will (and y'all know my thoughts on the Enquirer).

Then again as they say every village and all that. Like a dwarf, we have been SIGNIFICANTLY short in recent weeks.

The same National Enquirer that broke the story of his original illness?

I have a lot riding on Swayze not seeing out the year - as my joker he could get me a top 20 finish.

I'm willing to allow him a few more months of life if he perishes in a tragic accident with a turkey on Christmas Day.

Admittedly, Swayze probably is my biggest hit of this year (maybe next to Farrah Fawcett) and frankly, he's living far longer than he should be given the seriousness of his illness. The fact that he continues to smoke despite acknowledging that his smoking habits are likely linked to his cancer make me resent him more for still being alive. I'm not necessarily wishing for him to die, but he has no right to be smoking and still living w/ pancreatic cancer. He probably has access to the most state-of-the-art technology (laser cutting) available for anyone fighting pancreatic cancer. 99.9999% of people w/ his condition can't even afford what Swayze is receiving for his treatment. He's only living right now b/c he has access to treatments that i doubt anyone else w/ pancreatic cancer has (maybe Steve Forbes and Ruth Blader Ginsburg are the only other individuals who have access to this state-of-the-art laser technology for treating pancreatic cancer, that's why they're still alive).

And it disappoints me that despite all the above, he can't kick his cigarette habit. :)

Anyway, death had the opportunity to claim Patrick Swayze back in January 2009 when he was hospitalized w/ pnuemonia. That was probably Patrick's one major chance to die, and he survived. The National Enquirer can publish all the BS articles it wants claiming Swayze is at his "last days." Swayze ain't gonna die soon, and he's flaunting his cigarettes to prove to everybody that if you're a big shot celebrity (even if your last big hit was back in 1991), you can have the most advanced treatment possible that will allow you to resume your favorite leisurely smoking activities.

Firstly, you talk bollocks.

Secondly, Swayze isn't dead yet.

Thridly, I think Steve Jobs might have the available funds to try to buy himself out of cancer, money can't always help

Fourthly, why the f'uck would someone who is terminally ill bother trying to kick a habit of a life-time, the dumb c'unt started smoking in the first place and I don't think there's any way it will make his situation worse.

Oh s'hit, that's a list, its catching.

I wonder this too. Is there any recorded case of someone suffering from an aggressive cancer in an advanced stage such as this stopping smoking and suddenly getting all better? I'd be very surprised. What's the point? It isn't lung cancer and is quite possibly one of the few things he could get any satisfaction from.

I'd be even more surprised if hadn't tried smoking a bit of pot, I doubt he'd be worried about it leading to harder drugs.

In his place, I'm sure many would be smoking crack. Why the hell not? That's not gonna kill 'em.

In the words of James May, oh cock. It's no wonder the world holds a negative opinion of USAians when people like you exist. You talk sh*te 99.9999% of the time, I'll not back that stat up with evidence, I can't be arsed and the forum is littered with it. It's people like you that tar all USAians with the same brush even though there are many who can actually see out of their USA shaped box and are not big headed cockspanners.

I would also like to hazard a guess that social healthcare based nations such as France might also have a cyberknife up their sleeve. The difference is being a social healthcare system everyone would have a spin of the wheel. I also saw on the BBC a while back that the NHS are purchasing a few too so it won't just be those on a private healthcare plan that have access to Harley Street. I believe it is a US company so it is only natural they established a US market before trying to find overseas clients. That however is my viewpoint.

The right wing USAians might do well to consult this list before dismissing European healthcare systems as archaic. For the richest nation on Earth it must be an embarassment coming in at 36. Beaten no less by Colombia, Costa Rica, Morocco and Dominica. For the sake of the kind of people we saw floating down the streets of New Orleans, I hope Obama gets his way and also learns from the flaws in our systems to devise something even better that knocks France off of the top spot.

You are correct.

Patrick Swayze Using Marijuana in Cancer Battle

So he isn't putting on weight because he's getting better, he's just got the munchies.

I'm sure I remember reading somwhere that when Art Buchwald was dying of kidney failure and only had a few days left to live, he asked his nurses if they could go out and get some crack cocaine for him to try, but they declined to assist him.

Swayze was escorted from the hospital via means of wheelchair. Don't know if it's a testament to his health or if he's just lazy.

(Not a tremendously reliable news source, but the pics don't lie.)

If you're a patient in a hospital in the US you don't walk out under your own power. You're in a chair until you get to the car, no matter what you had done.

He may need the assistance, he may not. Hard to tell at the doors of Cedar-Sinai.

That's a deluge of deathly omens, or summat. Probable evidence of heart attack, bodily functions shutting down.....

Respect to the man for fighting this hard and this long, but them points are waiting to cascade onto the 2009 scoreboards.

Swayze is not gonna die anytime soon.

I'll wager that he'll live to see 2010.

The National Inquirer is getting a bit ridiculous. This is like the 5th or 6th time they claim that Patrick's time on earth is up and that he's gonna die very soon.

Ain't gonna happen.

As much as I have him as one of my big hits for this year, I'm no longer gonna wait till he dies. Instead, I'll focus on rooting on his treatment and rehabilitation.
