Spade_Cooley 9,536 Posted June 6, 2017 Giuliano Sarti, two-time European Cup winner who never really got a proper chance in the Italian national team due a surfeit of great goalkeepers during the 60s, dead at 83. Charon will be along in a minute to tell us about a game he lost.
Sir Creep 7,070 Posted June 14, 2017 Former Malaysia and Vietnam national team head coach Karl-Heinz Weigang has died at the age of 81. The German coach passed away in his home country after suffering a heart attack. Weigang was perhaps best-known in Malaysia for guiding the national team to the 1980 Olympics Games. However, Malaysia boycotted the multi-sport event altogether. SC

Spade_Cooley 9,536 Posted June 20, 2017 Tony DiCiccio, one-time US international but more notable for being the manager of the women's US team when they won the World Cup in 1999 and it briefly looked like women's football might become relevant, dead at 68. RadGuy 1,614 Posted June 25, 2017 José Manuel Mourinho Félix, footballer and father of José Mourinho, dead at 79. DDP pick for Diana Rots, so I'm guessing he was picked by a contender last year. Edit: Yup, Poochie had him for 2016. Typical Diana Rots.

Death Impends 7,979 Posted June 25, 2017 In fairness, it took me someone else (think it was Spade?) mentioning the name was a pun some months ago for me to catch on myself.

Always forget Graham Kelly is still alive tbh, mainly because I can never remember when Bert Millichip actually carked it. Duckenfield charged with manslaughter, so time for him to forget his medicine, I guess.
