Also, 12-minute delay in the Boro/Leeds match as paramedics take young sub Jack Clarke to hospital. No idea what the issue was but some pretty sober faces on Soccer Saturday.

Oh it was and indeed still is, regardless.

Can't do anything about blind (or in this case half blind) luck though.

I’m saddened to get it right.

Through I am not that good. The other week I predicted Banks would by the longest lived of the all the ill 1966 squad not the next to go.

i also predicted a mass exodus could soon occur once one went. Will I be right with that?

Let's try again: no.

Hasn't he said he has requested no announcement. So he could die anytime and we might not find out until probate is noticed.

Unsurprisingly, he had a short career at Ibrox :)

Well done to the three who picked her, like most I thought she had much longer left. She becomes the first ever person born in the 2000s to be a DDP hit, as well as the youngest hit since the ban on under-18s was introduced.

Sean def has bragging rights there. Crazy how Vinny Vella lasted two years with stage 4 liver cancer yet much younger athlete Dawes dies within three months!

Ah, fuck. Really thought she was a banker to make 2020. If I thought she had even a 20% chance of dying this year (especially so early!) I would have picked her in the DDP.

This, plus Michael "I think he may have already died off the radar'' Murphy's death yesterday, and McGahan earlier in the month... really shaping up to be a shitty year for me in the DDP. But there's 10 months left so we'll see.

And of course, on a personal note - sad story. No age at all.

Weird seeing somebody who's pretty much my age becoming a DDP hit. Now I know how youze oldies feels.
RIP Jordan Dawes

Tipping up auld huns #673412

Not much about Eric Caldow since he went into an Ayrshire nursing home a couple of years ago with Alzheimer's.

Former Scotland captain and probably the best full back in Europe in the early 60's, and was at WC in 58.

A mate of his grandsons resorting to pm to answer a question about him on a forum gets my Spidey Senses tingling.....

That, along with a Mauchline nursing home, no cunto deserves that for long.

The Seer of Bluenose Mortality bags another one: Eric Caldow dead at 84.

Steve Bruce reveals he has had Cancer but currently under control, don’t think anything imminent but certainly one to keep an eye on pushing 60 overweight and can’t see him living to a grand old age.
