Original source appears to be this Zambian Observer article

Loved watching Mwepu for the Albion and can only hope he pulls through.

I'd you read the rather entertaining article in full, it appears to be a problem with the pacemaker as opposed to cardiac arrest or anything more sinister.

But the poor lad really has had a lot of rotten luck

It might be like what Daley Blind had with his heart device which went odd while he playing and looks and probably feels a bit like a heart attack.

Nick Anderton's bone cancer is more aggressive than previously thought according to a club statement on 14th December.

It has also spread according to his GoFundMe.

Oh dear. Spread sounds like it could well be terminal.

Well, that's why I picked him for the DDP.  The particular cancer he has is quite nasty so if it has spread, the poor lad's in trouble.

Also the fundraiser has a feeling that maybe there is not a cure for him on the horizon just life extending chemo.

Oesteosarcoma is typically very aggressive and it certainly appears to be in this case.

DbN pick for me as I couldn't find room on the DDP for him. May regret that though. The Fatima Ali timeline leaves little room.

Never trust a breaking news notification to actually be breaking news, I guess.

On that note - top Cup tip on Google there - apparently, John McCain is a bit unwell with cancer! :D

So, after booking a pilot with a dodgy plane and without the experience to make the flight Cardiff City then kept their record transfer truly in the gutter by trying to insure Emiliano Sala for £20 million despite the fact he'd already died in a plane crash.

Marc Overmars’ ‘mild stroke’ last month was actually a heart attack

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/marc-overmars-heart-attack-arsenal-28995129.amp

Worth noting for those who don't click the link, Overmars issue considerably more serious than previously reported.

- Heart irreparably damaged.

- His heart can only pump blood at 30% of a normal heart now

- May recover some of it with resting for a year

- On medication for rest of his life to stay alive

He wont see old age, even 60 could be a long shot unless things improve drastically.

I wonder if he will end up with a transplant.
