Italian midfielder Patrizio Billio has died of a heart attack aged just 48. As well as playing for several Italian clubs he spent time at Crystal Palace, Dundee and Aberdeen.

Mikhail Mustygin was a Russian footballer who died aged 85. He played for Cska Moscow and Dinamo Minsk, and was top scorer in the Soviet league in 62 and 67

Has Mickey Thomas still got stomach canccer? He's being interviewed ahead of the Wrexham-Sheffield Utd match and I know he's pushing 70 but he looks ill - bald, very thin, and has that crepe skin look people going through cancer treatment often have.

He went into remission at one point but it’s possible the cancer returned

Charly Loubet died at 30/1 at the age of 77, he was the youngest professional player in France in 1962 when he signed with Cannes, he also played for Marseille and Nice
On Wikipedia he was born in 1945, but according to the source of the news of his death he was born in 1946 according to the photo of his Nice player card, could someone fix it?

Andreas Gielchen, German who was on the loosing side in the UEFA Cup final in 1986 and DFB- Polkal final in 1991 both with 1. FC Köln has died after a short serious illness aged 58. Obit (In German).

Billy Thomson, Scottish goalkeeper who played for Motherwell (1991-1994), Rangers (1994-1996) and Dundee (1996-1997) amongst others, reportedly dead aged 64. He gained international caps for Scotland from 1980-1983.
