Hospitalised!

Not easy to predict with pancreatitis at all.

Statically he should recover and live a pretty long term.Depends on type severity complications other health issues etc and he is married to a Kardashian which doesn't bode well based on history.

Not sure if this is worth noting, but he was in that really bad plane crash in 2008. He had burns on 65% of his body, spent over 11 weeks in the hospital, and underwent 27 surgeries and skin grafts. Maybe his immune system is weaker than most due to this?

Quite possibly.

Former Brighton & Hove Albion winger Peter O'Sullivan (71) collapsed last week and was on life support; now said to be recovering in hospital.

Spent over a decade at the Goldstone, which encompassed the brief Brian Clough era and the Alan Mullery era and Albion's promotion to Division One.

Poison frontman Bret Michaels hospitalized due to apparently having a bad reaction to COVID-related medication, triggered by his diabetes. He was set to perform a show in Nashville with Poison, but due to his illness the show had to be cancelled. He has other shows coming in up in America within the next few days, who knows if he'll be better by then or not.

Majumdar: Miraculously recovering (but he also never had a tracheotomy despite atleast one source saying that he did, which means he was slightly less ill than I thought) but not out of danger. His NG tube has been taken off, but he's still in ICU and unable to talk. Now communicates by writing. An MRI scan has not been done yet as he's not yet in good enough health, but they think he could have suffered a stroke. His list of diseases is long and even if he's discharged I doubt he'll ever fully recover from this hospitalisation.

After a week of improving health, Tarun Majumdar back on ventilator after a secondary infection according to this article.

Well now he's dead as mentioned elsewhere.

Lalu Prasad was again hospitalised last week, then discharged, then re-admitted. Apparently his kidney is exploding from creatine, or something:

Lalu Prasad Yadav hospitalised again, this time after falling down the stairs:

https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/rjd-chief-lalu-prasad-yadav-hospitalised-in-patna-after-fall-from-stairs-1969894-2022-07-04

Stable in ICU. Fractured shoulder, he also still suffers from severe kidney problems and last month obtained permission to travel abroad for a kidney transplant.

Kong Nay was discharged already five days ago but the "returning to his hometown to spend the last days of his life there" part makes it, well, sound like he doesn't have much left. :pop:

He also looks like a corpse in that picture.

There hasn't as far as I know been any news on Cacho Fontana and Valentin Uritescu recently.

Fontana was "improving and going to be discharged in the coming days" four days ago so either he'll be discharged very soon or something has happened.

Cacho Fontana dead at 90.

The death of his 20 years younger wife yesterday may have helped.

I'm assuming he's definitely named after Joseph Stalin which is odd to be honest. Yes, I know the Soviet Union and India were strong allies back then and I'm not sure how many people in India back in the 50's and 60's were influenced by communism, but being crazy about it to the point they felt like naming their own children after Soviet leaders? That's something.

That's something.

The story is on his Wikipedia page:

Stalin is the third son of 2nd Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and DMK Chief M. Karunanidhi, and was born to his wife, Dayalu Ammal. Stalin was born in Madras, now Chennai, on 1 March 1953. Karunanidhi was addressing a condolence meeting for Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, who died only four days after his child was born, and thus decided to name his son after Stalin.

OneIndia's 2018 article:

It must be recalled that Communism was popular in India in the 1950s and 1960s. The popularity of Communism dwindled in India after the disintegration of Soviet Union. In the 1950s, several leaders of the Communist Party of India upheld Stalin as a great leader, even years after his death.
