Since then the only update has been from his apparently offical Facebook page, stating that he has been in a persistant vegetative state since around last July.

Well considering the lack of celebrity deaths recently they were propbablt desperate to get one on to the front page.

 

He is an Knight of the Realm and the BBC are supportive of the Establishment.

He was one I thought had died a few years ago, but then every so often his name would crop up in conversation and I'd add him to my long list of people to keep track of. I guess I can cross him off my list for good now.
