I like this one:

A bit like an owl medusa.

Really. I think it's terrifying

As my hope of victory fades, I may as well post about my sole unique pick, who looks unlikely to cash in any time soon...

King Robbo, noted graffiti artist (if you consider it art) and Bansky's supposed "rival" suffered a life-threatening head injury in April 2011, which left him in a medically-induced coma for several months. Since then the only update has been from his apparently offical Facebook page, stating that he has been in a persistant vegetative state since around last July.

Artist john bellany at 71.

With his past he should've been on the radar .

Does anyone know the age or DOB of the cat artist Lesley Anne Ivory?

I was surprised that she didn't have her own Wiki page but she must be getting on a bit.

For some reason the BBC thinks that the death of Sir Anthony Caro is worthy of "BREAKING" status.

For some reason the BBC things that the death of Sir Anthony Caro is worthy of "BREAKING" status.

Well considering the lack of celebrity deaths recently they were propbablt desperate to get one on to the front page.

He is an Knight of the Realm and the BBC are supportive of the Establishment.

He was on my (very wide) radar so thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Bugger. Had him (I think as a unique pick in last year's DDP). Swerved him this year.

H. R. Giger, most famous for his art design of the "Alien" movies, but also creator of other subconsciously sexual art, is dead at 74. Apparently he died after a fall.

He was one I thought had died a few years ago, but then every so often his name would crop up in conversation and I'd add him to my long list of people to keep track of. I guess I can cross him off my list for good now.

There seems to be quite a few people dying from a fall recently.

I know this one's late but..... maybe he thought he was in space and he could just float down the stairs?
