Dunno why I've thought otherwise all these years but Vivian Stanshall's widow is still going and has her own Wiki page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ki_Longfellow

Well he was only 51 when he died, and unless she suffered any injuries in the fire or has any history of poor health, I think it would be safe to assume she's got a few more years left in her.

Aye, that's the logical stuff but if you read owt about Stanshall's depression/alcohol problems etc. you realise the fire might only have killed him because he was fairly well juiced at the time and also careless enough about his surroundings to let those kinda probs build up. He was mates with the likes of Keith Moon and quite a few of those closest to him died early and with some aspect of personal recklessness as a partial cause. Which is why I thought she'd gone. Thinking low hanging fruit etc. she's a scoring pick in a few dead pools as and when.

Re Stanshall and Moon there's a cracking story about a stunt they pulled in a mens' outfitters where each turned up and demanded to buy the same pair of trousers, after which they ripped said kecks in half during the apparent set-to and then (pre-arranged with the pair of them) a one-legged actor hopped in and declared the ripped remains to be exactly what he was looking for.

Lady Cudlipp, widow of the late Baron Cudlipp, has died aged 87.

What a truly awful surname.
