Death Notice for Betty Shackleton (nee Homan) aged 104, widow of the late Edward Shackleton, Baron Shackleton: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/225805/shackleton

I was reading up on Edward's dad, Ernest Shackleton, a while back and thought that being buried on South Georgia he wouldn't get many visitors.

Not a widow.

She is still 'family of the famous' as she is the mother of Bryan's kids.

This is not as bad a crime as putting her in the 'useless daft bimbos' thread though.  She was no Kerry Katona.

Sir Rhodes Boyson (mentioned above and in dispatches in a few threads) has died - http://www.telegraph...des-Boyson.html - a hit for 3 DDP teams, including myself, but I think he would've been picked much more in 2013.

Always "entertaining", if not for the right reasons. RIP

His widow, Lady Florette Boyson joins Sir Sideburns Rhodes: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/thetimes-uk/obituary.aspx?n=florette-boyson&pid=190556633

Death Notice for Lady Henrietta Bennett (nee Crane), widow of the late Tory MP Sir Reginald Bennett who died way back in 2000: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/229348/lady-bennett

See, let this be a lesson—don’t wake up at 3am and pop on for a quick look-see at DL updates or you’ll groggily read ‘Tory’ as ‘Tony’ and go into a fit of dementia trying to figure out about Tony Bennett’s widow and ‘just when the hell did Tony Bennett die’?!

Washington Post reporting that Audrey Geisel, widow of Dr Seuss, is dead at 97.

As I'm having issues with the site presently, can't post a link.
