Washington Post reporting that Audrey Geisel, widow of Dr Seuss, is dead at 97.

As I'm having issues with the site presently, can't post a link.

And here’s the link.

It's just, we have a thread for them. ;)

Yep, I forgot about it.  More appropriate in this thread, though.

Clarissa Eden - widow of the 1950's Prime Minister - will be 100 on 28 June next year, or - may prove to be someone's scoring pick before then

Fred Astaire's second wife - Robyn - was 45 years his junior. So, she remains alive, likely obitable (she was a noted jockey in her own right), and a mere 75 years old

George Cole's real-life 'er indoors', Penny, has died aged 81. She was an actress prior to marrying George, but gave it up to look after the family.

I recognize her. She would crop up in quite a few shows and films. Could never remember her name though.

Actually he was quite a guy. He wanted to make sure she would inherit from him after he died. At the time of their marriage a lot of old farts were just shaking up with younger gals, who took care of them while they got sick before they died, only to be left poor and homeless when the old fart died. He took care of her in that way. They seemed to be in love, for real. He was a lucky man and she was a lucky lady as well.

Yuri Gagarin''s widow Valentina died recently at 84:

I only noticed it because people on Reddit were thinking that it might be a covered up death by coronavirus (no details given).
