It's big WOMEN not bitches.

I do utterly detest this modern day 'bitches and sluts' label that men, and I use that word in the weakest of terms, use when talking about women like they are bits of fuck meat.

By all means lust but don't fucking talk about them as if they are somehow lesser than men.

On another point, when did "bitch" get escalated into a massively offensive swear word, to the point where swear filters often censor it?

Even if you're talking about dogs, or using it as a verb, eg bitching about something.

In my day  :old:  "bitch" was quite a mild insult, often used ironically or affectionately (as in "Oooh, you lucky bitch!")

PS: Priti is pretty but wears that smug smile like a badge of honour. I still would though.

Not to amplify that age gap, but it ("bitch", singular) has been pretty much as long as I can remember. Even at Primary it was one of the few zero tolerance swear words, when you could get away with a slap on the wrist for, say, dropping a paint bottle and yelling "Oh fucking hell" absentmindedly.  Or so I hear...

Probably an unnecessarily honest insight into my life but one Sunday morning whilst having sex my dog came into the bedroom and tried to persuade me to stop by picking a sock up from the floor, swing it round in his mouth and whining whilst standing at the door wagging his tail.

We stopped, looked at him and laughed and I couldn't resist saying,'my dog's got my sock, my wife's got my cock'. More laughter and we got back to it.

It struck me afterwards that it would have been better from a pure language comedy point of view if I had said 'my dog's got my sock, my bitch's got my cock'. However this might have risked spoiling the moment....

It has never been seen as a particularly offensive word to me either Toastie. It would, however, be fair to say that its use in the modern day and age tends to be in a manner that puts the female beneath the ' boot of her master' if you see what I mean. Modern porn is littered with abusive porn where viewers are conditioned into the notion that women who fuck men are all bitches, sluts snd whores and should be treated considerably less than humans with brains.

Its utterly abusive and I detest men who use that language.

Unfortunately, that language has come out into the wider society and it stinks.

I don't see women as less or like meat, that is just slang term man. It's a bit much to make that judgment from one word. I was into Rap in my teens and yes I probably picked it up from there and the movies. I'll be honest the women I've been with have never had a problem with it, Just a generational thing. I have alot of women in my life aunties, cousins, sister in laws, mother, wife, daughter all the most important people in the world to me. No I wouldn't describe them as bitches but that is because it's not used to describe all women mainly just women your causally dating or GF etc. In the old days I'm sure there were an equal equivalent.

The current Prime Minister of Iceland, Katrin Jakobsdottir, may not be "supermodel hot", but she has that girl-next-door kind of beauty that you'd hope to marry someday. That she leans more left than right doesn't make things worse either!
