Adverts - you either love 'em or hate 'em

You Brits have probably seen this Renault ad a million times but I have only just discovered it the other day:

I fully intend to marry that actress.

Her name is Estelle Skornik. She was in a show in London about the same time as she did those adverts where she got her kit off. I tried and tried to get a ticket to no avail :(

Don't know if this one has aired overseas but it just shows that us Aussies have our priorities right when it comes to advertising budgets:

Ah, beer ads. I rather like

by a Dutch brewer.

regards,

Hein

No, Skornik did an earlier series of ads. The girl in these ones is Annelise Hesme:

Apparently she grew up in the same town as Audrey Tautou, so they must have a eugenics program that specialises in breeding uber-babe actresses there:

I am booking my holiday there right now. :D

A former girlfriend of mine used to get a laugh out of this one:

By the way, I only just learned about Stella Artois being known as "Wife Beater" in the UK. That nickname hasn't spread down under yet (probably because it is so damn expensive here.) Was watching a repeat of Men Behaving Badly the other night and noticed it was Gary and Tony's preferred drop.

A few classics from Bundaberg Rum, featuring their polar bear mascot:

"The Red Sock"

"Drop Bear"

"We Wish England Were Australia"

Finally, they have been playing this Russian vodka ad in Australian cinemas before the main feature:

I'm not a man easily driven to hate, but I hope the fat pasty dude from the BT Broadband adverts dies alone and unloved.
