Marvin Creamer, academic and sailor, supposedly dead at 104.

Edit says he died yesterday (12th). His last post on Facebook (yes, a 104 year old using FB!) was on 2nd.

If that’s true, then it’s a battle between Ronald Atkins and Beverly Cleary on who’s the last survivor of that 1916 poll!

Put all my faith in de Havilland. Old girl let me down!

Cleary hasn’t been heard of much since her 101st. Atkins keeps cropping up now and now. I reckon he’ll win.

If there's nothing other than an edit on wikipedia to say he's died I would be very sceptical that it's true!

Donald Prell supposedly dead at 96.

Quite an interesting guy. A WWII veteran and prisoner of war held by Nazi Germany. Later became an author, venture capitalist and futurist, pushing innovation in the computer software sector.

Obit.

Conchata Ferrell apparently died on the 10th August according to a Wiki edit with no source.

Considering the media attention when she had a heart attack in June, you'd think her death wouldn't have gone unnoticed for this long.

edit:  looks like it's been removed.

I mean on the back of this I have no option but to add her to the round up - and today's the day it gets brought forward.

Death notice. Getting a nice wee Co-op funeral.

It appears to have been re edited back to him being alive. Either a miracle or fake news!

Evidence of still being alive? Not uncommon for it to take weeks/months for universities to put write ups for dead academics.
