This hurts a bit since they were the creator of the crowd-funded designed Rallye Fighter. A car I would like to own myself against those self-righteous eco warriors.

As of tomorrow Local motors is calling it quits...

P&O Ferries sacks 800 staff and replaces them with scabs agency workers.

I hope, if they persist in this course of action, they never sail again!

The last surviving Howard Johnson's restaurant has closed.

Open for most of the past 70 years, the restaurant was located in Lake George, New York, a popular summer vacation spot near the Adirondack Mountains. The restaurant closed its doors in recent weeks and the property is up for lease, according to a local affiliate.

The longtime roadside staple had about 1,000 restaurants in the 1960s and 1970s, and it was once America's largest restaurant chain. Instantly recognizable for its orange roofs, the diners served 28 types of ice cream and became a part of American culture. "Mad Men" recreated the restaurant to film a scene.

Cineworld Group has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. The British company is the second largest movie theater chain in the world. They operate in 10 countries with a total of 747 sites and approximately 9,139 screens around the globe.

Cineworld expects to come out of Chapter 11 in the first part of 2023, and they are confident the decision will strengthen their balance sheet and give the company flexibility to accelerate. Additionally, the company plans to close or sell some theaters as well as negotiate with US landlords to hopefully improve lease terms for cinemas.

Customers of Frontier Airlines will no longer be able to call customer service when they have an issue.

The low-cost airline, which is known for charging fees for seat assignments and carry-on bags that are larger than allowed, has turned off its customer service phone number, opting to have all interactions done digitally,

Frontier’s competitors, Spirit Airlines and Allegiant Airlines, continue to have customer service call centres with live operators.

The 747 ain't dead yet but new ones will not be born.
