Was hoping for him to hold out to be my first Joker in 2012. Oh well, that's death.

:)

A tragedy indeed...

that he never managed to secure a place on DeathList.

This could be turning into a year of bad misses for the DL :)

I doubt you're alone. Got a horrid feeling Philip Gould is gonna drop dead before December 31st just to compound everyone's misery.

Even more tragically, NotaGuest will probably turn up to gloat about the miss in a few minutes. :)

To be fair, things weren't looking too bad for him towards the end of 2010.

I thought he had gotten through the worst of it.

[stifles yawn.] You are so predictable.

I presume it is the middle of the night where ever you live, so the fact you are up at all hours trolling on web forums says a lot more about the quality of your life than it does about anything else.

It's a shame for my DDP theme team that my Zuckerberg pick didn't come up first because "that would be more than my Jobs'worth"

Shame, I liked how he did business. Modern day hero.

Sad news, top bloke.

Sent from Mrs Rotten's iPad.

I wanted to be the first to post this but I was pipped to the post, and really that's at the core of everything. So it wasn't to be applely ever after but as there is a worldwide Jobs shortage, no-one should be surprised

I can't help but think people are over-reacting to his death - particularly on facebook.

Within about 10 minutes of his death being announced, one of my 'friends' had changed his status to "RIP Steve Jobs", joined an "RIP Steve Jobs" group, and changed his profile picture to a black and white photo of Steve Jobs with writing in the background "Steve Jobs 1955-2011".

Anybody would think he knew the guy...

Headline from BBC website

'BBC set to cut 2,000 jobs by 2017' which is about one a day.

1 down, 1999 to go.

I wonder how many others had left Jobs off their lists hoping he'd go in 2012.

I was surprised no one on my local dead pool had him.
