You are correct though; it's a horrible post. @Sir Creep you're a rotten bastard and should apologise.  I won't delete your post and will instead leave it as a monument to your antediluvian form of "wit", which, frankly, has no place in this millennium and certainly not on this forum.

 

As for your comments about the recent banning of another member, I can't agree I'm afraid.  Multi-messaging other members to address them as cunts prompted complaints, to say nothing of the posting of pornographic gifs on our hallowed forums.  Despite repeated warnings, our now departed poster carried on regardless, leaving us with little option but to resort to banning him.  Frankly, Miracle Aligner, he had become a bit of an embarrassment...

Firstly I never complained - couldn't be arsed with that or even know how to.

 

I was getting close to putting Deathray on ignore simply because his record had got a bit stuck and I was bored of it - the forum full of Deather's calling everyone a cunt once a month is possibly amusing but during lockdown this increased to a level that I wasn't finding funny any more. 

 

Now we're all dull in our own way so it's totally subjective I'm just offering my support to DDT and the Admins and trying to nudge Deathray  Miracle Aligner if he couldn't just be fun and forthright without all the daily everyone's a cunt stuff then a lot of us would welcome him back as the well loved forum member that he was and is.

He is one of those wankers that pontificates about the inequality of society while sweating on whether the next Tory Government might actually make him get off of his fucking arse and go to work instead of poncing off of taxpayers.

I think it’s inevitable that a forum that primarily focuses on discussing death will attract some people with very unhinged personalities (as displayed in this thread). 

 

As a new poster I don’t find this deathray boy very threatening, or anyone for that matter, but not everyone will have the same approach and reaction when he comes storming into a thread calling everyone a cunt.  

 

But as a newbie I understand my opinion doesn’t mean shit to the territorial old time members of the forum, but it’s very off-putting for new members seeing a thread like this being polluted by middle aged men screaming at each other, much more off-putting than Deathray. Can we not all be friends and enjoy the morbid hobby of deathlisting pls.

Some folk have opposite views to me, some don't, I don't care about that, I only care about their general attitude to deadpools, crap jokes, and the rest of the amusing stuff on here. The world and the media (including the BBC here) have spent much of the last decade trying to paint everything as Them vs Us, tribal, making everyone seem polar opposites. If you actually got everyone together, you'd probably find a broad consensus on 90% of stuff.

There was even that guy who faked his own death. Things seem better back in the past because everyone is getting closer to death by the hour. That's not much zen talk but it is true.

The problem really is that it has become more of a social network platform than a Deathlist forum with off topic sections where you could be as inane as you wanted to be.
