Happy Thanksgiving to all! May you enjoy the company and the food, and may the Bears win in Motor City with a back-up quarterback.

Here's a cautionary tale from one W Shatner:

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

It's gonna be a low-key one for my family this year, we're not going anywhere or inviting anyone. More turkey and pie for me!

Well 22 minutes late, but hope all you Yanks enjoyed your Thanksgiving.  I had to work 12 hours and live alone in a hotel, me.

Oh look, Fred and Lamont from Sanford & Son thread that was merged for no fucking reason by UK-minded buffoon Admins, well they came to wish belated Turkey Day blessings, you fish-eyed fools.

Maybe create another half-assed dance show reality thread!  Cuz merging that into ‘Reality TV’ well can’t have that....it’s a great BRITISH show!

It's not "Turkey Day" here in the UK.  That's Christmas Day.

As for "Sanford & Son", I believe that was a US rip-off of

How dare you be so UK-centric on a UK-based forum with largely UK-based membership discussing deaths reported in the UK media.

Oh, Happy Thanksgiving.

Is it time to re-open the Sir Creep Appreciation Thread?

Absolutely. Man is a legend. On occasion a potty mouthed inconsiderate blinkered view legend, but a legend nonetheless.

In my view (and it might be just me) any community needs somebody who fills the blank empty spaces where the more reticent don't speak up. It doesn't really matter if it's utter claptrap, it keeps the whole thing moving along.

I miss Z too....;)

Was it extremely short? (Please reopen/unhide, admins - I could do with a laff)

Anyway, where the fuck is deadsox, it's at least an hour into Thanksgiving. For me, it's Happy Watch Two Games of (American) Football Day. All four teams are shite, mind. A combined record of 13-26.

The petty bitterness shown throughout this thread makes me truly joyful and thankful.
