I have to admit that I missed Givenchy too. I prepared a list of famous elderly fashion designers a couple of weeks ago, but was too lazy to post it on the "possibilities" thread. I'm also angry that I did not put Malone & Gavin on my shadow list, even though I considered them for a moment.

However, you deathlisters are supposed to have a nose for celebrities who will die soon, and Bocuse & Givenchy are two very famous names that you missed.

You're a fucking idiot.  Every word and phrase of that sentence is repleat with incorrect information and worse....incorrect inferences.

Holy fuck! I just googled his collections, and damn what a horrible fucking designer he is. Some of his work looks weird and pretentious and no one would be caught dead wearing them.

I mean look at this shit, it looks like the ones on the left and right sides are about to be sucked into a pipe like a fucking Super Mario.

Oh, and what about this so called "jacket"? I live in one of the coldest nations on the planet, and I'd rather freeze to death than walk outside wearing that abomination of a winter clothing.

Jesus christ, I can't believe a 90+-year old DL-candidate is getting me all riled up like this. It's utter madness that he's a legend in the fashion industry.

Fuckin' hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can pick up his polo shirts in all Sports Direct stores for the princely sum of £7.99 nowadays. Must have needed the money badly to let Mike Ashley drag his brand into the gutter, not that he will give a shit at his age.....

Obviously there's not a lot of news on him. Still, he strikes me as the type who turns 100 and dies soon after, maybe even immediately.

I would keep him on the list.

Just so this post isn't completely useless, here's some useless article on him from August: It does note that he is still working and sketching at 98.

DId you, or any of us, ever think when we sat through that 5 month snooze in 2011 that one day there'd be a 20/50 year DL? Not me!
