April 5th 1994: Kurt Cobain commits suicide. He was 27.

This must be the first time that Club 27 was mentioned, right?

A day late on this, but I figure it's still worth a mention that Picasso went into a permanent Blue Period 40 years ago yesterday

Eva Narcissus Boyd, better known as Little Eva, died 10 years ago on April 10, 2003 aged 59.

On August 25, 1962 she hit the No.1 spot on the Billboard charts for one week with her biggest hit “The Loco-Motion”, written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin. “The Loco-Motion” was also a major hit around the world (e.g. No. 2 in the UK and No. 1 in Canada) and during the years there were also many cover versions released.

Although she has got another top 10 hit in 1963 with “Swinging on a star” (UK No.7) she is often counted as a one hit wonder.

He saved money not buying him a birthday present,or if did and kept the receipt he could've taken it back

Tommy Cooper suffered a heart attack on stage in 1984. He was IMO one of the funniest comedians around.
