Never realized this (or heard of this fellow) till just now, but did you know the Carter Administration's US Ambassador to South Africa (1978-81), William B. Edmondson, died on the SAME DAY as Nelson Mandela?! That's incredible coincidence.

Then we watched it, and found that they were still under prepared, what with the guy doing the funny sign language performance.
