NZ press reporting that Turnbull will resign his seat if he loses the premiership. Could result in an early election. Would be hilarious if Dutton lost his marginal seat. Guy's an absolute grub.

The whips are independently verifying each and every signature on the petition?! Good God, Malcolm Turnbull will certainly leave deep nail marks in the Prime Minister's desk as he tries to cling to power, that's for sure. It really is becoming a farce. Hope the politicians sort themselves out for the sake of the decent people of Australia.

Make up your own mind. Here is a profile of Scott Morrison:

We have a general election within the next six months, and they will probably lose after this fiasco, so he won't be around for long before we have another PM!

Kind of disappointed that Dutton didn't win. I could have expected the hard right of the Libs to be annihilated in a snap election. Less likely now, I suspect.

Um, Scottish perhaps?  There is a New Glasgow in Nova Scotia, pop. 9000, but more likely the original Scot version.

Australian sports journalist and Normie Rowe puncher has died aged 89.

I'll be interested to see whether he gets a QO for DDP purposes, cause it'll help me see where that line is.

Here’s one for him. Australians almost always get a QO...

Pardon me....I was trying to remember the name of the singer he punched and went off and looked mid-comment and forgot to put in his name.  It is Australian sports journalist, Ron Casey.
