Voice Actors

For voice actors from that era, June Foray's a big one that's still around... probably the only big one.

Does Janet 'Penelope Pitstop/Judy Jetson' Waldo count as a big one? She's 85 according to wiki and 91 on imdb. I wonder if she's done the wild thing with Peter Perfect yet.
http://abc7.com/entertainment/voice-of-judy-jetson-janet-waldo-dies-at-age-96/1383083/guess we'll soon find out !
Awwww

RIP

So wait she was in her late 40s and 50s doing a teenager voice?

An aside, unlike 90% of the recent additions I like the cut of your jib CoffinLodger. Keep up the good work.

SC

Thanks, I'll try my best !

One that made me quite sad Kazunaki Tanaka (aged 49) who voiced Coach Ukai in Haikyu a Japanese Volleyball anime currently on series 3. Died 10 October

Sounds awful is actually great.

Could have gone in a number of places, but Cino Totorella, the voice of Topo Gigio, has died aged 89. He was perhaps more famous in his native Italy his long-running presenting duties on kids' TV, particularly on Zecchino d'Oro.

John Cygan, Hollywood bit actor, but more importantly, a video game voice actor, dead at 63:

https://www.gamespot.com/articles/metal-gears-solidus-snake-voice-actor-passes-away-/1100-6450053/

The angle of that article is his role in the metal gear solid series. I haven't played that...but I have played KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic), and he was Canderous Ordo there.

He had a wikipedia page:

What he needed was an etiquette lesson!

Voice actor Randy Schell, the man behind promos for AMC's hit series "The Walking Dead," was killed Saturday in a skydiving accident in Houston.

Schell, a licensed and experienced skydiver, collided with a second jumper in mid-air after both deployed their parachutes at Skydive Spaceland Houston, leaving Schell's parachute collapsed. The second jumper was treated for a leg injury.

Ah, a sad loss but a good age.

Sympathy with Death Impends on the loss of his own personal Clive Dunn. It'll be a sad day when we lose Pan Breed favourite Mary Wilson...

William Phipps is the last remaining voice actor from Cinderella, I make it. Could be a nice "four people score points from...." in next year's DDP.

Not only that, but didn't he have a hellish lot of health issues a year or two back? Vaguely recall someone posting it here.

And an even sadder day when we lose Joey Russ's favorite, Ozzy Osbourne. :D

You mean we have to have a favourite?

I'll pick Ennio Morricone, then. Gawd bless him.
