Sir Creep 7,070 Posted July 16, 2015 My dog goes from being a she to an it tomorrow. SC I know you're a bit pissed about her divorcing you but isn't that an overreaction? (joking, what kind of dog is it?) Just a mutt (golden lab mix, prolly terrier in there somewhere). She looks pathetic with the lampshade on her head today. I really didn't want a dog but former co-worker getting evicted cuz he's a loser and he couldn't care for two-month old dog so I took her. I used to have cool dogs (Ibizan Hound, Saluki, Chinese Crested etc) and don't do mutts. So she's an anamoly. I know that's way more of a response than was necessary haha. charon 4,943 Posted July 16, 2015 'Cool dogs' , aye. Right. Fwiw, I just couldn't do it to my one, I wouldn't do it to a wife/gf, so why would I do it to something I actually love? Dubious about the cancer shtick the vet gave me back then. She'll be 10 next fortnight Her latest photo (that some cunt shopped, but I like )..
Dr. Zorders 1,271 Posted July 24, 2015 I'd say my mum was on the rag today but I think it's more like, she has become the rag.

Presuming you love dogs in general castrating yours is a social responsbility. The number of stray dogs in this country is over a 110,000. As well as the issues caused to the humans who have to live around these dogs, there's also massive potential disease repercussions for both stray and domestic animals. By not castrating you're dog you risk increasing the number of stray dogs - causing an animal you love - a dog - to potentially suffer that fate. It's okay to say that you keep your dog on a lead and locked away but it's not always possible and dogs (especially intelligent ones). On a closer to human level, you risk the possibility of your own dog picking up one of the large range of STIs available from stray dogs. Until the number of stray dogs is much lower there is absolutely no need to breed domestic dogs, for this reason you should castrate them. With regards to the cancer, it's only really an issue if you neuter the dog later than when the operation is normally performed by vets caring for puppies. Also the anaesthetics are very good and they'll not feel it.

It's rare to see a stray dog in my locality, and most of those are quickly identified and reclaimed by the owners. News of any such stray dog (or cat) is all over the local Facebook pages in minutes, and if owner not traced, someone calls the dog warden, but that's very rare. charon 4,943 Posted August 14, 2015 Eh, deathray, naw. Lead? Lol, where do you think I live ffs She is on the lead maybe one day in six months. Btw, she was a Xmas stray, twice in a week when I got her as a pup. By coincidence I have been reading up on serial killers and https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%BCrgen_Bartschdied of an anesthetic od whilst being castrated. And being half way done myself due to big casino verdict, I feel vindicated.

Good for you, but naturally the ratio of available spaces in homes and stray dogs isn't quite where we'd like it to be. Living in an urban area it's obviously more of a concern that me than it is for charon who seemingly lives in some Scottish hamlet as accessible as Dr Zorder's specialist version of English. And being half way done myself due to big casino verdict, I feel vindicated. It's great that you were able to take her in. Obviousl the decision to castrate or not is a personal one, I was just trying to lay out the argument for doing it on a more practical level than "you're chopping a dogs bollock off." I've actually been "lucky" enough to witness a castration being performed in person and yes it made me feel a bit queasy but there's no long term effect on the dog. The difference is Jurgen Bartsch isn't a dog and I'm pretty sure the doctors may not have actually given a fuck whether he survived given his past crimes. charon 4,943 Posted August 14, 2015 As Bob is a she, bollocks ain't a bother. It falls on the, not owner, 'person', in the partnership to endure things are 'right'. As stated, I wouldn't do it to a human partner, so no fuckin' chance in Hell A male dog and it may have been considered more than a heartbeat, but zero chance of me getting one of those. YoungWillz 21,057 Posted August 21, 2015 Had a small episode this evening with a slight chest pain. Given my history, Dad rushed me off to the hospital, but I think I rather overdid it with the magic "spray under the tongue" and passed out, rather than it being anything more serious. Discharged myself (which was probably unwise, but hey, I know what a real heart attack feels like), fine now. Egads!

Lord Fellatio Nelson 6,219 Posted August 27, 2015 Well today was the day I raised a grievance against my cunt of a manager. It has been coming for some time BUT I wanted to do it at the right time, which was today. I have also been mostly completing a company '..do you feel like topping yourself..' test which I failed miserably ( I need to be on fucking suicide watch apparently ) so this has been the secondary enema I have metaphorically rammed up his arse. I also pointed out to him that there is not a single engineer on the group that likes him and he should be fucking embarrassed ( bit like here and Dr Z) and he seemed to be a bit flummoxed for a mo before launching into the 'your a gobshite etc etc' because I stand my ground. I did say that 99 managers would let that go over their heads to which he stated that 99 managers haven't got me on their group. I felt it prudent to point out that 99 engineers don't have managers like him either.................. So, Im at home, having spent the morning on the phone to HR, filling out a grievance template etc etc. As for cunt face, this is the 5th grievance raised against him and, at least, the second stress test carried out by an engineer against him. I try not to let people fuck me over, especially a Jurassic Park style manager. He actually tried to call me at 10 and left a message wondering where I was as my van was still in the yard. He ended it with something like, 'just need to know where you are.......buddy'. Thick or psychotic? Who knows? Who cares!!!

charon 4,943 Posted August 27, 2015 Invite him for a drink to talk it over. Then punch him the fuck out. Was easier back in the day when smoking was allowed, some of those glass ashtrays were heavy. Being less flippant, I don't know where I stand on raising a grievance though. If you get promoted , most folk above and below, would look down on you for it. So, I'll refer you to my first thought.
