Well work and having a kid stopped me from posting as much as i would of liked in the last year but defo be more active this year and submitted a team and a theme team for DDP. With regards to whether this site is dying I would say the opposite . I remember in 2009 when I joined only a handful of posters would post everyday now though there are lots of regular posters, I think its becoming less and less a fringe site. Deathlist is going mainstream boys and girls!!

Dunno about mainstream - but it's a going concern for sure

I'd say the forum for competition has boosted the day to day interest; probs because people at work share their progress with colleagues. I walked into the office not long back and one of my colleagues said to me; "That's Zsa Zsa gone then, she was one of yours wasn't she?"

Its been a busy year. I've come back and the old crowd appear to have taken flight!

I don't post so much because I'm just too busy being an important person. So important infact that I have spent much of the year looking over my shoulder in the fear that the grim reaper was about to add me to his tally of famous younger dead people in 2016. I'm actually a bit offended that he didn't - such a snub...

Aye, the wife is not a deadpooler, but now whenever someone famous dies she asks: "Did the Deathlist have them?" First time she asked was, I think, when Richard Attenborough went, and I had to actually show her the front page to prove he wasn't on the list. "That was an obvious one, surely?" said the non-deadpooler.

I'm unable to access the site from work which is why I rarely post these days

And you've better things to do with your free time?

Just different, not better.

I see The Sun has an article about The Death List (online at least) - this has probably already been discussed but can't find it anywhere.

That should boost membership although I'm not sure from the tone of the article that would have been their intention :-)

No such thing as bad publicity.

Without wishing to stereotype he does look like i'd expect a Sun journalist to look.

I'm guessing when they call us a sick website they mean the slang term ' that website deathlist is awesome and sick at predicting deaths yo'.

Yes but for anyone of a certain persuasion there is sufficient information for them to be intrigued and also to find us - it does state 'the warped online outlet, named The Death List'.

However shit it's free publicity - trust me the quality of the article is irrelevant - no one in a year where all the 'nation's treasures' have died one after another is going to write a glowing article about The Death List!

Well you would have to be Stevie Wonder not to find us, its not like the writer didn't name us or do a screen grab...

That's a truly shit article full of the Suns good old fashioned false shock, horror and indignation.

The three comments at the end, however, were probably written by existing DL members so, come on, own up! :D

Interesting reader commons from the likes of "Gussy Musty" and "Steve the Poofter": https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/2509493/website-predicts-favourite-celebs-will-die-the-death-list/

One of Murdoch's third-rate Australian news sites is also running the story: http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/celebrity-life/the-death-list-picks-which-celebrity-will-die-next/news-story/68ea59f4b976f423ee21ceeedb7c65a8

They are just publishing it as filler in the Sun because all of the main journos are on Christmas holidays and thye know people reading will be interested to see the site today with a new list going up.

Anyway, interesting to see a newspaper involved in phone hacking scandals and running softcore porn on Page 3 taking the moral high ground...

Thanks for the link, I couldn't find the article.

Quite funny. Be even funnier if Murdoch is on the list.
