I did search but with 66quintillion posters quoting RA's list in its entirety, I'm afraid I never got beyond the "Unexpected Deaths of 2010" thread. Sorry n all that. It's almost always some sneaky bastard 'guest' from pedantsville that points it out as well. If they're such fucking experts on the forum, why don't they show themselves? Advice for moderators/admin - restrict the search function to signed up members. That'll learn the cunts.
Magere Hein 1,400 Posted December 29, 2010 Advice for moderators/admin - restrict the search function to signed up members. That'll learn the cunts. I like that idea. I've had a look, but couldn't find a setting for that. I'll take a look at it while I prepare for New List Day (1-1-'11). regards, Hein
Guest Guest Posted December 29, 2010 There was no need to get shirty, I was only trying to help the administrators find where to put the post - I apologise. I'm not surprised nobody ever joins the forum.

I'm not surprised nobody ever joins the forum. Not true. I seem to have joined. Of course, now I'm not a guest, the curse of my posts wont effect people. So I can mention John Demjanjuk here without him dying in the next 24 hours.

I'm not surprised nobody ever joins the forum. In that case, a few well-chosen words to point that out may well have prevented anyone getting shirty. However, there's no need to get shirty over people getting shirty. While I'm here, can I just point out that we're quite well populated for a forum that nobody ever joins. I like Paul Smith's shirtiness, but if he dies today, have I posted this in the wrong place. It seems ridiculous to me that a forum headed 'Dead of 2010' does not in fact mean the Dead of 2010 but really seems to mean 'The Dead of 2010 who are not on other threads'

This is rather a big one, has it been reported elsewhere?http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-12094005 I've only just seen this. That is a shock - my son (aged 5 1/2) has been perfecting the Boney M "Mary's Boy Child" dance this Christmas (and performing it for everyone's amusement at any given opportunity)...he'll be sad when I tell him in the morning... Ulitzer95 12,579 Posted December 31, 2010 The World Record Holder for the title of "oldest female marathon finisher" has died at the age of 99. Local obituary for Jenny Wood-Allen. Old bint lived around the corner from me, was silly enough to pick her for the DDP last year and not bother this year but maybe she won't get a main obit, time will tell.
