Toast 14,837 Posted March 5, 2016 I've ended up with only nine players, having mistaken the start date. I thought I had one more day to make changes, so I removed one player ready to swap in another. Annoyingly it allowed me to remove the player but then wouldn't let me add one or replace it. So I was a bit narked about that. Have had one hit with Abe Vigoda, but all a bit pointless now. The best thing about the RDP is that you can start any day, but I find it unnecessarily restrictive. If they cleared their database of all the historical dead people there would be room for a lot more candidates. They've never acknowledged any suggestions I've made. Death Impends 7,365 Posted January 2, 2017 Finished last year with 8/10. Rigas was a fraud, Barys Kit remarkably resilient. Though Barys returns for another round anyway. He's basically to my RDP like Nanette Fabray to Hartlepool, or Zhou Youguang to Deathrace. A tradition, where you know they'll die the moment I no longer use them. Started this team yesterday. Not terribly confident with this lot, due to more "well they're old" to compensate for a lack of nailed-on deaths in the database right now, but we shall see. Switched back just now so that it wouldn't be a pointless, unswitchable pick. Only learned about the rule after Soares's death date was briefly set a year in the past.
