Get yourselves down to claggan park and cheer the boys on for the last game of the season. Hopefully the boys can finish the season on a high and come away with the 3 points. Kick-off 3pm.
The social club will be open at 12:30 today and we will be showing the Celtic v Kilmarnock game. So if you want to grab yourself a pint and watch the game your are all more than welcome.

FULL TIME

Fort 1-5 Wick

So, surely this is the worst season performance (points and goal difference wise) in the history of the Highland League.

Fort's season has not escaped the attention of The Guardian's The Knowledge readership, prompting the following question:

Quote

“In this season’s Scottish Highland League (a level below Scottish Division Three) the bottom club, Fort William, ended up with a goal difference of -224,” writes Allan Bremner. “In the course of the 34-game season they shipped 245 goals and scored 21 – that’s an average of just over seven goals against in each game. What is the worst goal difference a team have ever had at the end of a season? And, what is the biggest difference between a top team’s goal difference and that of the bottom team? The top team, Cove Rangers, had a goal difference of 88 making the difference between top and bottom 312 goals.”

Second paragraph of the "Can you help?" section, towards the end.

Well, we've only gone and done it.  We've broken through the 5000 followers barrier on Facebook. A huge thanks from everyone at Fort William F.C. (Official) to you all for your support. Please keep sharing and inviting your friends and family to join the party. Btw we have more followers than any other Highland League club by over 1500. Quite an achievement for a club of this size. Lets keep this going. Have a great day.

Wonder if if we should let them know we've been supporting them for the last 9 years.

All at Fort William F.C. (Official) are deeply saddened to announce the passing of club stalwart Frances Campbell, wife of past chairman Jimmy Campbell. Frances carried out almost every role during her time at the club and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with the Campbell family at this sad time.

Our heroes will be on BBC Scotland (ch 115 sky) on Tuesday 30th July in a documentary (?) about the team.  It would be nice if we got a mention, after all, we've been supporting them for 10 seasons.
