Draw just been made. We're away to Albion Rovers. Might try to get to that one.

A proper team, mind - might be a proper reality check waiting there

Bit too early really but we could - just about - discuss the 12th October home match as a six pointer, eh?

MATCH POSTPONED

Saturday’s match at home to Lossiemouth has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and the weather forecast is only getting worse. Apologies to anyone making the journey to Claggan Park on Saturday. A rescheduled date will hopefully be announced soon

Pay at the gate only. I mean...aren't they just gifting the touts an opportunity if it gets close to capacity?

From what I can remember, having been at their ground years ago, it looked almost like a barren wasteland.  Mind you, that was over 20 years ago.

You might be closer to the truth - I've searched in vain for this game on eventbrite and wegottickets

Fort William have drawn league opposition away in the Cup, 1-1 FT. That's a shocking and sensational result for them.

CLUB STATEMENT

It is with regret that we announce that our manager Russell McMorran has stated his intention to resign from his position as first team manager. His last game will be away to Wick Academy on 4th January 2020.

Russell's impact on the club cannot be understated. He joined the club just over a year ago as Secretary and stepped up to take on the manager's role at the start of this year. Along with Jamie McGregor and then Mark Rydings they were able to stabalise the first team and get us through the season.

Russell has contributed hugely to putting a competitive Fort William team on the park. So far this season we have reached the second round of the Scottish Cup, holding Albion Rover to a draw away from home and reaching the semi final of the North Of Scotland Cup. Although we currently sit at the bottom of the Highland League he has helped build a foundation that will ensure this club has an exciting and positive future and we thank him for that.

We will be advertising for the position of first team manager and hope to progress this in the coming weeks.

Read that too quickly and suddenly thought they'd nicked Peter Murphy - Carlisle legend and current Annan Athletic manager
