Honestly, I'd have responded earlier but at 5-41 on Saturday I was driving a car load of disgruntled Carlisle fans back home after a drubbing. Put it this way, as we set off I asked whether we'd do the usual "who was our man of the match?" chat, everyone just laughed.

Not the tankings of old, then - what are they going to make a documentary about this year?

Supposed to be at home, but was unplayable.  Switched venues. Didn't seem to make any difference.  ‪FULL TIME:‬ ‪Formartine United 5-2 Fort William‬

From the Clachnacuddin page.......

Clachnacuddin To Make History

On Friday night we will make history in Inverness as we play Fort William F.C. (Official) in the first senior football league match to be played at the  Highland Rugby Club home ground, Canal Park.
After exploring a couple of options for this match, we are delighted to be playing this historic game at what is undoubtedly one of the cities best and most modern facilities.
The KO on Friday evening will be at 19.45, this has been agreed with the  full cooperation of Fort William, Scottish Highland Football League and  Highlife Highland.
Please if you can, get along and let's get right behind the team and give us your backing at this most important time.
See you there.

See, this is a perfect example of the need for a "shocked" reaction, which could express OMG! or WOW!

‪NEXT MATCH‬

‪Our next match is a journey to Turriff as we face Turriff United at The Haughs next Saturday. Kickoff 3pm‬

‪Calum Maclean’s men are looking to go 3 games in a row unbeaten as we face a Turriff United side who are looking to get their 2nd win in 3 games ‬

‪Fort can go up to 16th in the league if we beat the Aberdeenshire side and if Clachnacuddin can beat Lossiemouth which will mean we will go above Lossie ‬

‪Turriff are sitting 14th with 15 points from 24 games. ‬

Aye, the point being that drags Lossiemouth off the bottom and puts Fort back in the usual place (albeit with an amazing ten points!)

‪FULL TIME:‬

‪Fort William 1-2 Forres Mechanics‬

‪A very positive performance from Fort William here at Mosset Park  against a good Forres side. Unfortunately a late goal from Ryan Henderson couldn’t get a result but well done to Hendo on his first goal for the club ‬
