Tonights result Fort William 1 - 1 Clachnacuddin. A valuable point. (Actually, 2 points dropped as we scored first)

Weird, the BBC site says 1-1 but their facebook page says

Tonight's game ended 2-2 on 38 minutes due to the power cut affecting the entire area. James Mackay got both the Fort's goals, with Sean Grant having a part to play in both. :scratchhead:

Do players suffer from midge attacks during Fort William's spring and summer games, just askin', like?

Aye, respect to our lads pimping a brace past Brora (or did the league leaders field half a team of their stiffs?)

FORT WILLIAM 1 HUNTLY 1

The Fort completely dominated the first half and took the lead in the 9th minute, with Hungarian youngster Barna Tot scoring for the second successive game!

Visiting keeper Fraser Hobday did brilliantly to deny Iain MacLellan and Duncan Campbell and make sure his side went in only 1 goal down at the interval.

Visiting manager Gregg Carroll, currently serving a touchline ban, then proceeded to do his half-time team talk at the side of the Claggan Park p...itch.

The second half was a more even affair, and it took a brilliant block from Darren Quigg to keep the home side ahead.

However, the visitors did equalise in the 79th minute, but could still have won it through Davie Forbes header and James Mac Kay's low drive that was brilliantly turned away by the feet of Hobday!

At the end of the day, a point's a point, but it certainly felt like 2 points dropped as opposed to 1 point gained!

Never mind, roll on Wednesday night and Keith!

Yay! Another point Fort William 1 - 1 Wick Academy

So what happens now, the league is all played out apart from two games involving the Fort (three points adrift at the bottom). Do they play these games?

Alright, I'll answer my own question after Googling their site. 10th and 16th May are the crucial dates, hopefully their mid-table marooned opponents will already have got their minds elsewhere and the Fort can fight their way to second bottom.

From facebook page

The Fort travel to Aberdeen tomorrow to face 2012/2013 league champions Cove Rangers in their penultimate game of the season.

Then we will bring this season to a close, a week tonight, when Inverness Clach are the visitors to Claggan Park!

6 points in the bag?

Six PINTS in the bag, right. For a second there I thought you meant six points.

It's gone half five and the BBC online are still showing them 4-3 down in a "latest" score, they lost, right?

Update; Cove 5 vs Fort 3

Did well to go away to high flyers and knock in three, mind.

We were 3-1 up at one point.

A pisser, then.

But at least the challenge is crystal clear now. Only a win in the league's last remaining game will do. In that event Fort climb to second bottom on goal difference.

Aye, but a triumph of sorts, worst league position but second worst goal difference. A great season by comparison to the others, then.
