Seeing this is considered a slow year, I decided to make a game out of guessing how many hits the DL will have had by the end of the year.

I think seven.

edit:

My predictions are:

Gabor. Fignon, Niemeyer and Al-Megrahi (in that order)

Zsa Zsa on the way, plus an autumnal rush of four makes it 8 for the year IMO.

Suppose DL were due a bad 'un...

I'm going eight as well, for all the reluctance to die amongst our 50, there is still some low hanging - Ronnie Biggs - stylee fruit on the tree. Won't stay hanging forever.

Is there a reason why you posted this twice?

And that I can't see your vote on the poll?

Computer froze and I mashed the mouse in frustration(this happens quite a lot, usually when I'm in the middle of something), hence the double post.

I'm going for nine as well. Zsa Zsa Gabor, Norman Wisdom, John Edrich, Billy Graham, Betty Ford and Oscar Niemeyer to all justify their selection by the end of the year. I can't see any reason why not.

Four.

Zsa Zsa will die, but only because she slipped through my net this year.

I went for 10, but don't ask me to name them (any 6 from 46 will do).
