Obitable, because british Robert Brandom - born 1950 - language philosopher - probably not obitable Tyler Burge - born 1946 - general philosopher - in good form and not very obitable Judith Butler - born 1956 - THE gender studies philosopher - as such almost an A-list celebrity, but quite young, especially on this list Nancy Cartwright - born 1944 - philosopher of science / social science and economics - not to be confused with the voice of Bart Simpson, she got a few lifetime acheivement awards and seems to be winding down David Chalmers - born 1966 - leading philosopher on consciousness, and thus rather obitable - he seems a bit of a "rock star philosopher", less drugged up than Slavoj Zizek though, and so still much too young Noam Chomsky - born 1928 - A-list celebrity as a political commentator - we know him Andy Clark - born 1957 - UK-born, so likely obitable but a lesser name here it seems, also a philosopher of consciousness ...to be continued.... . .
