Wikipedia says her birthday is January 30th 1948. Need to find more evidence to see if this is correct

.

Don't the Telegraph's obituaries mention the DOB if available, at the very end? Given their obits are paywalled now I can't bother to check but I think that's why it's known.

Sara Coward had been treated for breast cancer, but the cancer returned last year and proved inoperable. In January she expressed the hope that the BBC would find another actress to play the role of Caroline as she did not wish her character to be written out of the show.

Sara Coward, born January 30 1948, died February 13 2017

Here is a list of people DDT could be referring to:

June Spencer b 1919

Lesley Saeward b c1934

Patricia Greene b 1931

Angela Piper b c1940

Colin Skipp b circa 1928 although I think he may be younger but has had heart problems

Judy Bennett b 1943

Brian Hewlett

Charles Collingwood b 1943

Edward Kelsey b 1930

Terry Molloy b 1947

Charles Collingwood sounding healthy on the Today programme this morning and Terry Molloy liked one of my tweets the other week. I think we should be looking at the top of the list.

You know every Sunday morning I see "Shula" trend on Twitter and go "oh wow, Don Shula's dead, time to update the DDP" and then it turns out to be some character from this thing.

You all think I'm going to mention Dr Who or The Avengers, but no, he was the voice of this guy:

And this guy:

So, sad loss imo.

Says on Wiki her birthday is the 14th. Does that need editing?

BBC article here says she will turn 100 on Friday so 14th is correct.

A very rare appearance tonight from Archers veteran Lesley Saweard, who has played Christine Barford for 66 years.

I think it might be at least six months since she last appeared and I was starting to wonder if we'd heard the last from her.  Her character, perhaps in a nod towards real life, is now in a residential home.   Archers actors do have a history of working until they drop.

Great to hear the indestructible June Spencer back on The Archers tonight after a 9-month covid-19 enforced absence.   101 years old and still lighting up the show. :)
