So he lasts 3 years at Stage IV under the tlc of his girlfriend. Dumps her in Feb, announces he's going to become a priest. Dies weeks later. Who knew shagging would be a better cancer drug than relying on God?

Guess the coverage there of his priesthood plans was a sign of things to come, John Underwood has now gotten an eventual Times obit. Though doesn't affect any dead pool to my knowledge.

FFS. QO and all, now all we need to find out is that him and her relationship was a chaste one and I've been completely shown up here!

The QO's not going to do him any good, though, is it.

Posting mainly because of the coincidence, but: on the same day that Jim Neidhart died, so did Jim Hart, football writer and podcaster for These Football Times.

Could have sworn we had a mention of former Daily Mail football writer Ralph Ellis on here after he revealed he only had 18 months to live. Anyway, he's dead.

1. 18 month (5/2018) clearly WAY off.

2. Note to self: Bike riding useless as fuck for curing prostate cancer.

Charles Rappleye, a resolute Los Angeles investigative reporter and editor who wrote critically acclaimed books about historical figures, has died at 62.
(Ironically, this is the next sentence -- editor please!)

Rappleye, who battled cancer for six years, had been working on a book about little-remembered President Zachary Taylor when he died at home in Echo Park on Saturday.

I didn't know Zachary Taylor was alive much less living in Echo Park.

He was the automotive writer in the Detroit Free Press for seemingly years.  Which means he held quite a lofty position, automotive + Detroit.....

1. His insurance has to come out and determine if it's a total loss.
2. Tony Swan will be interred at Western Auto Salvage.
