she smashed her face in an epileptic fit. i think people with epilepsy should be shot like rabid dogs ! (just giving her a taste of her own medicine)

I never new she was epileptic? It's a form of brain damage isn't it? Explains a lot.

Interview with the good doctor by the disgustingly self-satisfied Fergal Keane on Radio 4 right now. Try here. Sounds fairly chipper.

From the Jack Kevorkian thread, now transpires Fergal Keane is stepping down from current role and getting a reporting role due to PTSD: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-51236199

If she doesn't get something in the first six hours she's doomed. I'd only give her a 10% shot and your best bet is Reuters.

Not 100% sure this is the right thread but Mike Curry the son of former 'Fleet Street legend ' Steve Curry who was the Daily Mails football writer for many years , has died suddenly today.

I have put him in this thread not because he is the son of a famous football journalist but because it seems Mike himself worked for SKY Sports for years and was known in those circles. Presumably as a journalist of some kind ,not sure.

The tweets are about Mike , the linked article is about his father Steve Curry who I think died only last year.

Aye, there is a thread for sports commentators which is seriously underused, so let's give it a bump.  :D
