Didn't realise that Angela Rippon was a presenter on GB News now (she's a stand-in for Alastair Stewart from time to time apparently).

Looks pretty good for someone who's turning 79 next year. I reckon she'll be with us for a long time yet.

Agony aunt Deirdre Sanders who works for The Sun and ITVs This Morning diagnosed  with  breast cancer.

Not dead, but her husband last month. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-11594983/This-Mornings-Deidre-Sanders-tears-reveals-husband-died-just-Christmas.html

Nothing in the article about her cancer

She got given an MBE last month which might be a sign of worries about her life expectancy.

Rory Cellan-Jones who is BBC journalist is related to an actress/Jazz singer with dementia. Anyone know if they can narrow it down? Wikipedia doesn't give me clues.

American sports journalist Steve DiMeglio, who writes for USA Today mainly about golf, has stage 4 cancer.

Most likely not QO worthy but still worth a consideration for pools with lower obit requirements.

For sure.

Through I wouldn’t rule out a Q/O when the time comes on the basis of tributes from players etc getting write ups. The Belfast telegraph has done for his announcement https://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sport/golf/rory-mcilroy-leads-pga-tour-well-wishes-for-golf-journalist-steve-dimeglio-as-he-battles-cancer/42003440.html

Donald Trelford, formerly editor of The Observer, reported dead aged 85, after long illness.

eta: Suggested by @arghton in Ideas & Possibilities, but not followed up by anyone.

Nick Cohen resigns from The Observer on "health grounds". Although as he's still writing for the Spectator, has launched his own Substack and was the subject of an investigation into workplace behaviour last year, you probably don't need to add him to any long lists.
