So, ironically he never once reported on his home state team in the Super Bowl since the Detroit Lions have never appeared in one.

Quite a miss for my Made In Detroit team.  He was a great sports writer even though I didn’t agree with him all the time.  He was around for decades.  And a good guy it seems.

Not saying it's karma for spelling his surname "Jonze" rather than his birthname of "Jones", but...

Martin Bell just showed up on Talking Pictures for the UNICEF Ukraine appeal. His voice isn't what was, but though ill looking he looked better than he did a year ago. Thinking he may have been recovering from an illness rather than dying. Famous last words, I know.

Popped up in another Unicef ad. Not looking too bad. As above voice not as it was but otherwise looks fine

ITV news health Editor Emily Morgan has died. Other tweets reveal she was 45. No cause revealed but she hadn’t tweeted or seemingly reported since March 30th which implies maybe a short period of illness after then.

British podcaster Eden  Young dies after  a fall in Madrid Spain whilst on a work holiday.

I know podcasters are not necessarily journalists, indeed most arent but my tired brain could not think which thread podcasters belong in and when I used forum search for podcasters  there were few results  but journalists was one of the specific topic threads with a mention .

Oh sorry just established that Eden was a journalist  who wrote for Polyester magazine.
