Little biography here: http://www.robynwade.com/index.php?c=bobby_dennis.htm

Have a wee chuckle:

This is turning out to be a tragic day ! So many well known faces seem to be dying! :(

Hmm, thinking about Phyllis Diller earlier got me to thinking about those Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts. Can't be many folk still around from them, I thought, as the big names were folk like John Wayne and Sinatra and co.

Well, most of the people have died, true, but there's still 99 "roasters" still with us today. Some better known than others, but here's an updated list of those from them still around...

  • Dena Dietrich (b. 1928)

A fair few theme teams in there.

Dena Dietrich, apparently unable to fool Mother Nature, with reports of her death via Twitter:

It’s not nice to fool Mother Nature - but you REALLY shouldn’t screw with The Reaper!

Certainly a blip on American radar.

However - she was an comedic actress, NOT a comedian or comedy writer.  This entire thread on her is misplaced.  But there’s an obit for ya.

Well, that's Buff Hardie awa'. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-55149611

OldWillz used to roar with laughter at them...different times, couldn't see the appeal myself.

Kind of a niche interest for me, but local Seattle clown and icon J.P. Patches, real name Chris Wedes, has died aged 84 of multiple myeloma.

His sidekick Bob Newman has now died at 88

Oops! I could have sworn it was the actor up when I was scrolling through the names on the celebs list.

Turns out the Andy Gray on the DDP is now the footballer/pundit. Was this a change? :o

Anyway, if it's the footballer, then this Andy Gray was picked by me twice in 2019 alongside Angela of Death and will therefore be another List of the Missed.

Well, the person who had him was a Machotrouts theme team, and when he noted it on forum it does say actor by his name. So I imagine it’s a possible overlook by the committee...

You are right!

Maybe that is where I saw it then. ^_^

Which means City Lights Andy Gray is a hit, if the DDP can be fixed. I simply never stuck with him, he seemed to have recovered from his Christmas 2018 scare. So well done in advance to @machotrouts

I blame the theme team with all the folk with the same names, myself. The engine can't cope with 2 Brian Cox's let alone the rest!

EDIT - My Poirot murder team currently has the science guy for example. Not even co-hosts are immune!

I am taking a bit of a breather, for a few days. I'll make a note of that in the back of my mind.

Does that mean he'll be bringing back his Hitler Moustache tour?
