Of course the odds that we keep up at the same pace steadily decrease as every time someone dies, the remaining pool shrinks. I do have a feeling that this year will beat the odds though :)

His rather harsh DDP write-up (albeit deserved) omits the fact that he was responsible for the resurgence of squash in Egypt, which thanks to his financing of courts, training programmes etc. has resulted in the current situation whereby 5 of the top 10 players in the world (both in the male and female rankings) are from Egypt, and in recent years gave us possibly the most entertaining player of all time, Ramy Ashour. So not all bad.
