I've always considered this a catch-all thread for anyone from the Indian or Asian or sometimes African continents.  I agree if someone can be put in a more precise thread that is generally accepted -- Tongan PM most definitely in a stately thread imo -- but for lesser politicians I have no problem at all they end up here (See ND Tiwari for instance...and I have no idea if this is where he ended up).  But at no time have I ever considered this thread exclusive to 'the arts' when we have threads for art, broadway, theatre,  blah blah.

If you go back to the birth of the thread, you'll see it was mostly foreign actors, from non-Anglophone countries.

Debatable, particularly since this person wasn't frail...she went from healthy to dead in an instant.  A matter of either accepting threads both as good or narrowing this thread's scope to avoid overlap.

"Political frailty" is a figure of speech.  In the context of Deathlist thread titles, it's a pun.  You aren't meant to take it literally

Here’s a thought, does it even matter? You won’t even remember the name of who died tomorrow anyway.

German designer Luigi Colani has died at age 91.

https://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2019/09/16/world/europe/ap-eu-germany-obit-colani.html

My father was an architecture and design student in the 1970s, and he had contact with Colani during that time.
As a student, he had no money but a pregnant girlfriend, and so Colani gave my father a stroller designed by him.
The stroller must have looked like that, but the frame was red and the folding roof orange, I think.

Unfortunately, I have no access to my personal children's photos.

Also mentioned in The Chequered Flag thread as a possibility by me three years ago as for me, his most important role was that of racing car designer.

He certainly was a remarkable man.

Some news about my sleeper pick Rodion G.A., electronic pioneer of Romania:

After a few appeances over the course of the year, he revived his fundraising call last month, to little success.

And now, to add to his liver cancer and cirrhosis, the "cemetery mafia" has stolen his slot on the graveyard:
