Jerry Lee Lewis

Recommended Posts

Well, FB had false claims that he had died yesterday, as you know BUT the same site also put up false claims that Dwayne Johnson had also died.

Just saying, like...

And the trend continues, there is still a gap of two or three between every hit on the list. Either JLL or Scales had to go to make this trend continue. Done.

Finally a score for my "last surviving member" list. He was the last member of the Million Dollar Quartet, consisting of Lewis, Elvis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins.

The killer is dead...

Also the last surviving member of the original inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Now everyone inducted on the Hall's first year is gone.

BBC News is saying 'Jerry Lee Lewis has died aged of 87'

Not a construction I'm familiar with.

Jerry Keller, Hank Marvin, Craig Douglas who all had number 1 hits in '59 still around. Whether they're 'rock' stars or not is open to interpretation.

Not a rock star but a 50s major artist, Sonny Rollins is still alive. 92, former heroin addict suffering from pulmonary fibrosis for more or less a decade now, would be nice to see him on the DL

I could have sworn he was on the DL list recently! I didn't realize his only other appearance was in 1993!

Ok I just found out that he was on the Deathlist back in 1993 (the year I was born) and now I have to go lay down and think about it for the next four hours.

Me too ! But that’s What I love about it : they had the year right, they can have all the credits they want, congrats ! This is more impressive imo than havin someone on the list for 15 years till he/she dies.

I’ll be damned. Figured it was just a hoax. I suppose someone was covering their ass in the retraction and/or response.

I say change the rules of Deathlist.

Once you are on the list, you cannot leave it until you die!

Couldn't be arsed to go through pages of this thread, yeah, I'm bone idle.

Anyway, just wondering if anybody mentioned, in passing, that people are mourning a legend that once married his 13 year old cousin.

Just sayin, like.
