He's had it for three years and seems to have adjusted to it just fine. He says, he can go see a movie,then forget about it, and watch it again, after two years.

I totally missed that at the time. I wonder if he will be on the list in a few years once it has progressed. He is famous enough.

Heard of it, thought it was already reported here some times ago, it really moved the opinion out there in France ! The only one to care and call the emergency services was a homeless guy !

Photojournalist Steve Schapiro, who died last week, was instrumental in capturing the Civil Rights movement.  Schapiro died of pancreatic cancer in Chicago on Jan. 15, the same date as Martin Luther King’s birthday. He was 87.

Letizia Battaglia, photographer who captured 20th century Sicily and - most importantly - the impact the Mafia had on it, dead at 87. Was still exhibiting last month so it must have been something pretty sudden. The documentary about her, Shooting the Mafia, is a good watch if you have a few hours:

Would obit no problem. 30 years ago ITV had a 4 part miniseries "Frankie's House" based on his book Page After Page where it covers his time in Vietnam with Sean Flynn (son of Errol). It was on youtube worth a watch if you have a few hours to kill.
