Whilst I don't disagree that there are a lot of parody accounts and bots on there, there are still a lot of folk on Twitter, aged between their late teens and fully grown cunt who are so deep in their Little Red Book of Mao that they genuinely think we've all swallowed the blue pill. They believe that we're being spoon-fed propaganda and that NK and Cuba are some kind of communist utopias, when in reality it's they who are brainwashed.

Those people have always been around - It’s just before Twitter they were not noticeable unless you knew them.

Brief list of living over 90 henchmen of Kim. Don't use this for deadpools as they won't die.

1)Ri Yong-suk (1916): took care of little Kim Jong-il during the Korean War and got rewarded with a place at the Supreme People's Assembly. Considered the last notable survivor of the war against Japanese.

2)Kim Yong-ju (1922): Kim Il-sung's younger brother, with an extensive history of heart disease dating back to the 70s. Last seen in full shape in 2015 and presumed to have appeared in public until some time later. Was still able to walk unaided and lost the extra weight he had in the 90s.

3)Ri Yong-mu (1925): old VMAR who still pops up at public gatherings once in a while. Rumoured to have been seriously ill in the past and had very long absences from the public eye.

4)Yang Hyong-sop (1925): former head of state who still holds considerable power. Rumoured to be ill in 2017, he actually makes frequent appearances and seems much younger than his actual age.

5)Kim Yong-nam (1928): former head of state, now quite out of the public eye, but appeared as recently as January. Nothing wrong with him apparently and lost his place due to generational reshuffle rather than failing health.

6)O Kuk-ryol (1930): DPRK cadet of a prestigious military family. Now in a wheelchair.

7)Choe Yong-rim (1930): former premier who has apparently the worst health of the group. His prolonged absences are quite unexplicable, but he managed to resurface in 2019.

8)Choe Thae-bok (1930): former speaker of the Supreme Assembly. Looks much younger than his age and won't go anytime soon.

9)Kim Il-chol (1933): sacked Minister of Defence who was rumoured to have been executed. Reappeared suddenly in 2019, visiting industries and joining Hwang Sun-hui's funeral committee.

10)Kim Ki-nam (1934): propaganda chief of the regime.

11)Hyon Chol-hae (1934): extremely frail Marshal of KPA.

They are dying in order, so Yang Hyong-sop next. How disciplined!

Live through 2021 with a new documentary about Kim Jong-Un:

https://www.nknews.org/2022/02/kim-jong-un-completely-withered-as-he-suffered-for-the-people-state-tv-says/

Kim Jong-Un's weight loss is also being brought up: “His body completely withered away, and he showed his motherly side by greatly suffering and worrying to realize the dreams of the people,”

Funny that I read the news while in the airport at 4 a.m. in the morning.

So next should be Kim Yong-nam, whose health has in fact steadily declined since 2019. Hyon Chol-hae, who has suffered from Parkinson's and dementia for years, should be another one at high risk.

Also note that theres apparently a big Covid Pandemic happening in NK now, or at least now the state is reporting on it and called in emergency measures and all that stuff.

Kim Yong-nam is on Hyon's state funeral committee, a sign he retains some power and may not be in too bad conditions.

O Kuk-ryol is nowhere to be seen, despite being a military type like Hyon. That might suggest he is close ti circling the drain too.

Aye, because the obvious explanation is that all masks available in North Korea are too small to fit his fat bonce!

Usual War Veterans Day celebration will be held in Pyongyang on July 27.

Who will be the stars this year, after half of them died in 2022? The Blue House raid guy Pak Jae-gyong will likely have a central role. Choe Yong-rim will surely be there as his daughter is now foreign affairs minister.

O Kuk-ryol may be too sick to be there. Kim Yong-nam usually does not take part to this.

Kim Jong-un himself was absent:

They seemingly stuffed thousands of veterans, or thousands of people into one stadium:

PYH2022072700710004200_P2.jpg.3f11d31faa8c22da68fce0da90504efa.jpg

I couldn't find many pictures of who was there and who wasn't, drol might find more, but Choe Yong-rim (former Prime Minister mentioned above) is now wheelchairbound and seems to have been the star of the show:

Choe seems to have declined. Thae Jong-su (born 1936) and Ri Myong-su (1934) were also there. Another cadre is 99, but it's not Jong Chang-ryol.

Absence of O Kuk-ryol may indicate he is close to death. Also surprised about Pak Jae-gyong. Some other state funeral coming soon.

Sister claims Kim was "seriously ill" with "high fever" at an unknown point during NK's covid outbreak, but "could not lie down for a moment thinking about the people he had to take care of until the end in the face of the anti-epidemic war":

11)Hyon Chol-hae (1934): extremely frail Marshal of KPA.

12)Pak Ui-chun (1935): former Foreign minister.

2021 and 2022 have wiped out a lot of them, covid probably playing a part in this..

None dead this time unfortunately, but here are a few suggestions to the list, up to 1940. These are picked from people who have Wikipedia pages and with many of these I don't know for sure if they're alive.

Jon Ha-chol (1928) Former Vice Premier, seems to have held positions in the govt until atleast 2010.

Kang Kwan-ju (1930) Was on mourning committees until 2011. "Head of Department 225" whatever that is, but the source is from 2012.

Kim Jong-suk (1931) Kim Il-sung's cousin and widow of longtime Foreign Affairs Minister Ho Dam. Already looked very frail in 2012, but seems to have been appointed to new positions as recently as 2017.

Pak Jae-gyong (1933) General and old Vice Minister, failed to attend the Veterans Day celebration this year.

Ju Sang-song (1933) Ex-Security Minister before Jong-il's death. He was dismissed "due to illness" in March 2011 and his last public appearance was a month before that on Jong-il's 69th birthday. Could be lying in an unmarked grave somewhere, but also could've actually been in ill health as he looked quite frail in 2010. I doubt he'll reappear though.

Choe Ik-gyu (1934) The propaganda film director of North Korea and former Minister of Culture. He has a massive Wikipedia page but I have no idea how large of a name he is in NK. He regularly went to Germany for treatment of chronic health issues in the 2000s. He seemed to have been a good friend of KJU, and was apparently alive when he came to power.

Ri Myong-su (1934) former Chief of the General Staff. Was active in 2022.

Ri Pyong-sam (1935)

Thae Jong-su (1936) Ancient technocrat who seems to hold quite a lot of power and is still working.

Pae Tal-jun (1936) Former Construction Minister. Not sure if seen or heard of since 2011.

Hong Sok-hyong (1936) Another one who was "released from all of his powers" during Jong-il's final months.

Jo Yon-jun (1937) US-sanctioned KJU's inside guy, reportedly responsible for the executions of defectors. Retired from some of his positions in 2019.

Kim Yong-dae (1937) Leader of the Korean Social Democratic Party 1998-2019. His much younger successor died this month. Met with Ted Turner in 2004, described in the 2000s as "just another North Korean bureaucrat" and of less interest than Ryu Mi-yong (1921-2016), the head of the other minor party, Chondoist Chongu Party.

Paek Se-bong (1938) Member of the National Defence Council until around 2014. NK took a while to release a picture of his face, he was originally suspected to not exist at all.

Yun Jong-rin (1938) Commander of the Supreme Guard Command, the Kim family's Praetorian Guard since 2010.

Kim Jung-hyop (1938) Politician who was dismissed from his positions around 2010 but since 2016 has been a Central Committee member.

Pak Pong-ju (1939) Former Premier.

Kim Wan-su (1939) Purged?

Choe Su-hon (1939) Dealt with EU relations. Later the Ambassador to Syria, dismissed in 2014.

Kwak Pom-gi (1939) Technocrat who held pretty high positions in 2012.

Ri Su-yong (1940) Chairman of the Supreme People's Assembly Foreign Affairs Committee 2019-2020.

Kim Kyong-yon and Kim Pok-sin, both born 1925, are mentioned living on the "Vice Premiers of North Korea" wiki page, but seems like they haven't been heard of since the 80s or 90s. Same with An Sung-hak, born 1922. I feel like all three are long dead.

KJU himself seems to be doing pretty well, a new mystery woman by his side

Those with only Korean wiki pages...

Jang-ho/Jang Ho 장호 (1920-?) Minor name and spy. Was alive in 2020 and received a 100th birthday gift from Kim Jong-un.

Jang Byung-gyu 장병규 (1920-?) Active in NK's politics since the 60s, however I kind of doubt he was actually born in 1920. Director of the Central Prosecutors Office until he was dismissed in 2017.

Kim Ui-sun/Kim Eui-soon 김의순 (1921-?) Former Censorship Minister. Active in the 2010s.

Jung or Chung Chang-ryeol 정창렬 (1923-?)

Chae Hee-jung 채희정 (1924-2014) Was on Kim Jong-il's funeral committee.

Kim Byung-hoon 김병훈 (1929-2013)

Han Dong-geun 한동근 (1933)

Ra Dong-hui or Dong-hee 라동희 (1934) Transport Minister 2009-2014

Kim Hee-taek 김히택 (1935-2023) Retired in 2013

Heo Jong-man 허종만 (1935) De facto ambassador to Japan

Was thinking today while going through some names for pools, I wonder if this Jang Ho guy would get any kind of a mention by NK press if he(?) has died? one of the unconverted long-term prisoners who crossed the border and went to NK from the South in 2000. There was 63 of them, they seem to be quite "big" names in NK, and he was living on his 100th birthday a bit under two years ago:

jangho.jpg.43fbf4bbd55d7dcc2f9ce8276bed0546.jpg

Some of those have received proper KCNA obituaries, but some haven't.

Here's a full list by DoB:

1. Ri Jong (1911-2011) Was already 89 when he went to North Korea, the oldest prisoner. Last known to have been alive in 2006, not sure if he ever got an obituary. Found his Korean wiki, says he died in 2011 (link, different spelling of his name). For even more proof, there are pictures of his grave on the internet.

2. Ryu Yŏn-chŏl (1912-2011) Got a KCNA 90th birthday announcement, died 2011 according to Korean wiki

3. Kim Sŏk-hyŏng (1914-2006) Featured in a SK documentary film in 2004. Died in 2006 and got a KCNA obit.

4. Kim Chong-ho (1916-2003) One of the first ones to die, got a KCNA obit.

5. Im Pyŏng-ho (1916/1914?-2014) Was already quite ill when released. Korean wiki says he died in 2014 at 99.

6. Kang Tong-gŭn (1916-2004) Died 2004, got a KCNA obit.

7. Pang Chae-sun (1917-2015) Got a KCNA mention on his 90th. Reported to have died in 2015 as did the guy below.

8. Yun Hŭi-bo (1917-2015) Got a KCNA mention on his 90th. Wanted to kill Eisenhower. Reported to have died in 2015.

9. Ryu Han-uk (1917-2009) Originally thought to have been born in 1911, but was likely born 1917 instead. Got 90th birthday announcement, died 2009 according to Korean wiki.

10. Han Chong-ho (1918-?, dead) Got a KCNA 90th birthday mention, has probably died since. Most recently confirmed alive in 2014 at around 96.

11. Sin Rin-su (1918-?, dead) Got a Pyongyang Times 90th birthday mention.

12. Chŏn Ch'ang-gi (1918-2012) Seems to have died in 2012.

13. Kim U-taek (1919-2010) Possibly died 2010.

14. Han Paek-ryŏl (1920-2009) Died 2009, got a KCNA obit.

15. Jang Ho (1920-?) Seems alive, got a 100th birthday mention. But of course very well could've died since.

16. Hong Mun-gŏ 홍문거 (1921-?, dead) Got a 90th birthday mention, already looked quite frail back then. He yo-yoed in and out of hospital in 2014 so I doubt he's alive.

17. Ri Se-gyun (1922-2013) Seems to have died 2013.

18. Kim Myŏng-su (1922-2013) As above.

19. Pak Mun-jae 박문재 (1922-?) Was alive in 2020 but looked and talked like a corpse. Could've died since.

20. Ri Jong-hwan (1922-2001)

21. Han Chang-ho한장호 (1923-) Was already frail in 2013. Actually made an appearance as recently as 2020 and looked even frailer. If alive he'll get the 100th birthday thing next May-July.

22. Kim Yŏng-gyu 김용규 (1923-) Similar case as the one above.

23. Chŏn Chin (1923-2012) Seemingly died 2012

24. Kim In-sŏ (1924-2008)

32. Kim Chung-jong (1926-2009) Doctor of Linguistics

33. Ri Tu-gyun (1926-2012)

34. Yun Yong-gi (1926-2001) One of the first to die.

35. Kim In-su (1926-) Can't find anything.

36. Ch'oi Ha-jong (1927-) Painter who got the 90th birthday thing.

37. Song Sang-jun (1927-2013)

38. Ch'oi Sŏn-muk (1928-) Seems very much alive.

39. Hong Myŏng-gi (1929-) One of the more known ones and was active in recent years. Frail.

40. Pak Wan-gyu (1929-)

41. An Yong-gi (1929-2009) Painter, seems to have died shortly after his 80th.

42. Sin Gwang-su (1929-) Spy. Wanted in Japan for abducting Japanese citizens in the 70s and 80s. The piece of shit is likely still alive.

43. Cho Ch'ang-son (1929-) In poor health over a decade ago. Doubt he's alive.

44. Woo Yong-gak (1929-2012) While in jail suffered a stroke. Died in December 2012.

45. Sin In-yŏng (1929-2002) Was suffering from terminal leukemia when released. Died 2002.

46. Son Sŏng-mo (1930-) Living in 2020 and got KJU's gift.

53. Kim Yong-su (1931/1932-) Got the Birthday Award last month.

54. Kim Tong-gi (1932-) Wrote a book on his experiences. Born ca. November 1932, so I expect he'll get the Kim "How the fuck did you manage to live to 90 here? Congratulations!" Prize soon. Featured in the video below in 2020.

55. Ham Se-hwan (1932-) Said to have been born in December but got the award in January.

56. Kim Yŏng-dal (1934-)

57. Chang Pyŏng-rak (1934-2009)

58. Kim Chang-wŏn (1934-2012) Reportedly died 2012

59. Ri Kong-sun (1934-)

60. Ko Kwang-in (1935-) Got the 80th birthday award seven years ago.

61. Ri Kyŏng-chan (1935-) As above

62. Ch'oi Su-il (1936/1939-)

63. Ri Chae-ryong (1944-) Had a daughter in 2002 who entered university three years ago.

Found this youtube video of some of them:

Edit: Pak Mun-jae appears on that video - I wonder if he's died since. As do others including Ri Chae-ryong and multiple of the younger nonagenarians.

There's also that elusive NK 100th birthday present. I wonder how many people have got that or if it's only given to notable people

Kim Jong-Un shows his daughter Kim Chu-ae for the first time:

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-63685497

The usual health speculation ensues, does it mean he has health problems and wants to present a successor?

He does look a little older than his 38 years though. The hair is turning grey.

Mr Kim with his wife and their daughter
